The Corner Restaurant

Great food, great service, great location and view! We came for lunch while in town visiting family and it was everything we wanted and more. We sat out on the beautiful patio with Mountain View’s and umbrellas. They also have a lovely indoor dining room. I had the Cubano sandwich, YUM. We also shared the biscuits with butter and jam, double yum! Don’t take my word for it, just go try them out. Special thanks to Emma our server who was so kind and attentive :) Sorry we ate everything before I could snap a photo :P

Fabulous food! We had 8 in our party and everyone of us were very pleased! The Corner restaurant was all booked when we arrived, so we stood outside figuring out what to do and they called us back in! Love the ambiance. The waitress was cool and calm and kind and attentive to us. Absolutely coming back (with reservations). Great food. Great service!

Went here for Sunday brunch. Ordered the steak and eggs and pork belly benedict. Overall the experience was underwhelming. My water had some chives in it. Our server brought our food and we didn't see her again until we flagged her down so we could pay and leave. The food was a little underseasoned and the portions were a bit small for the price. I'm comparing this to some of my favorite breakfast places in Utah (five5eeds, Penny Ann's, Joe's Cafe) and it just doesn't really provide the same value as the rest.

As always I'm a food only rater so my 5 stars reflects the quality of the food. A must hit if you're in the area. We had the chicken and the stroganoff as well as a side of carrots and the cauliflower. Desserts we tried the carrot and coconut cakes. It was all excellent...I wouldn't have been able to think of how to make any of them better. In comparison with other similar type dishes as good as I've tasted. Sometimes restaurants have a tough time avoiding large pieces of white meat in birds from drying out. Not tonight at The Corner. It was moist and excellent! The atmosphere was likewise great looking, appeared clean etc. However we saw 2 tables by us that were never wiped down. Just cleared and new clean plates etc were placed and new patrons seated. So I'd go a 3 overall. 5 for appearance, layout, etc but a 1 for sanitizing. The service was very friendly but extremely slow. I'd have to give it a 1. Luckily never part of my rating, just noted.

Excellent food! We came from Utah County to celebrate a birthday. We had the halibut and the chicken. We were sad that the stroganoff, primavera and the short ribs were sold out, as those were our first choices. The chicken was moist and crispy on the outside, with yummy rice and veggies. The halibut was a bit bland, but moist and the veggies were food. The best part of the meal were the rolls and the carrot cake. They were phenomenal. We hope next time we will get to try the short ribs and stroganoff.

Beautiful restaurant, eat outside or inside. We ordered the Eggs Benedict (yummy hollandaise, thick slices of ham, English muffin could have been a little bigger to fit under the whole Benedict), and the Monte Cristo, my husband loved it, sweet and savory. I would have given this place 5⭐️’s , but they were short on table servers. We waited 30 mins for our food. It was a leisure day, so it didn’t bother us as much as it might for others.
