Denny's

For starters I just want to say that this review is not about the waitresses because they were so short staffed however, I will talk about the food. My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare) and his steak was fully cooked. It also had this slime like substance on in which made him not want/eat it. My French toast, eggs, sausages, and hash browns were cold. The only good thing I consumed was the water, orange juice, and ham slice. He also ordered apples juice and it tasted old. As if they don’t clean the dispenser that the juice flows from. This was a complete waste of my time (which I hate to waste because I can not get it back), my money (oh lord don’t get me started on that), and energy. Also, the manager was doing more dictating than helping from what I could see. Instead of telling people what to do and moving about with an attitude maybe next time she should help to help everything run more smoothly.

I actually love this place. The service is good, the food is delicious and you can’t beat the prices. When my friends come from nyc we pick them up at the bus station and go here to have breakfast. We talk and eat for at least two hours 😹ah the good old times. The only complain, I always get the turkey bacon and love it but when they get regular bacon it’s tiny and shriveled up.

Food came out quick and had a standard service. Food came out really quick in fact! I ordered a steak medium but came back raw..like really raw. But you pay for what you get and 12 bucks for a steak compared to most restaurant chains isn’t bad at all. If the steak came back medium this dinner would have rocked. Oh well. Next time.

I visited Denny's in Middletown NY with family this morning and had a horrible experience. The wait was around 20-30 min to be seated, which was fine. When we sat down we ordered right away. The food took almost 45 min to come to the table. When I was about half way done with my meal, I found a cooked bug in my dish. We all immediately stopped eating and lost our appetite. We called over for the waiter and he went to get the manager. The manager took at least 5-10 minutes to come to the table since she was helping in the kitchen. Once she came, she offered to comp my meal but did not apologize or anything. We told her we could not eat anymore because we were all nauseous and wanted the whole meal comped. The manager gave an attitude like it was our fault. She eventually said have a nice day ladies and we left. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Went tonight with the family and the service was poor and waited about 20 minutes for my daughter's drink. No napkins were provided to us. I had to ask the server where the rest of our food was. He didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered. First time I've ever had bad service there. Hopefully it will change.
