I saw their sign advertising the return of lobster rolls, bites and bisque. I had to stop since I haven't tried their bisque before. I am so glad I stopped. Everything tasted great and the woman working the drive thru window was so sweet.

Food was delicious. Their Cajun catfish was delicious, the okra was super good, and the gumbo was amazing. The people there were super nice, especially Theresa. Will definitely be coming here again

Shrimp skewers missing from both dinners. After waiting in line in their drive through forever.
Edit to review and stars added. I called today to make management aware. The manager who took the call offered to replace the meals. I went and the entire order was redone for free. Excellent customer service from management. I will return when we want their style of food again.

Friendly service but seemed a little slow. However the food was fresh. Edit to Review. I called and spoke to a manager on duty the next day and the situation was promptly resolved and made right.

My family and I prefer Captain D's over the other large fast-food chain of fish eateries. The taste and quality of the food seems to be much better. Unfortunately there isn't any Captain D's locations on the east side of Cincinnati, if there was I'd eat there more.

I have very seldom, if ever, gotten a bad meal here. They do seem to have a high rate of employee and management turnover.
Here if late though, it seems to take quite a bit longer to get your order. Even longer than a sit-down restaurant where the wait staff come to your table to take your order. I do not know why this is occurring. Everyone seems to be doing their part to get the orders ready, but they are still backing up causing a wait.

This store has vastly improved since my review of them almost two years ago. My daughter ordered from them and I did not after my previous experience was do bad that I reported conditions to corporate. They have done a complete overhaul of the store, management and crew. It has made all of the difference in the world. The store was clean, the cashier was friendly and service was fast. The food was well prepared and had an appetizing appearance. The tase was very good. Excellent all around. I would gladly recommend to his store, now. Nice job!

I usually don't eat out much. But I've been to Captain D's twice the last 2 weeks and the service was really nice, by Anne, and it was very quick both times I was there. She saved me about $4 by offering me the deals they had there that I hadn't noticed. She definitely deserved a raise for as hard as she worked. I'll definitely will go back and I think other people should try Captain D's also.
