Awesome little spot in Westchester, hidden by a little strip mall with not just great tacos and ice cream, but great everything! Food tastes well thought out and authentically spiced and seasoned. The vibe is really cute too, cool little place to go with a small group of friends for a fun night with attentive service and fresh quality Mexican food. Taco 🌮 Tuesday specials are great but ALL the flavors are awesome. They were super cool about accommodating a dairy allergy for me and the food was really tasty!

I drove almost an hour to A-Mari-Mix after seeing it listed by Food & Wine as having the best burrito in Florida and it didn't disappoint. I got ropa vieja (as the article recommended) and it was definitely one of the best burritos I've ever had. It seemed a little small but was packed full and had good ingredient proportions. The ropa vieja itself was great and I have little doubt the other meats would be just as good. The elote was borderline life-changing. A little expensive compared to most but absolute perfection. I ordered online and had an easy, quick pickup experience. The staff was extremely nice and thanked me by name. Highly recommended!

I won’t say the food is bad but I really didn’t like the fusion of Cuban & Mexican food. I like both of them but as separate restaurants. My mistake not reading any of the reviews I just went blind by a recommendation from a coworker. Also when I ordered the fish tacos 🌮 I was expecting more out of it, the fish in it is just frozen breaded fish; also I should have asked if the fish was grilled or breaded; I wasn’t expecting a breaded fish, the plates weren’t that cheap $13 so I just assumed grilled fish. I liked the corn fritters. Customer service was good very friendly staff 5 stars for the girls. The restaurant was clean and plenty of parking spaces.

I gave 4 stars because the food is AMAZING!!!!! So so so good! I cant complain at all about the quantity or QUALITY of food they offer! I do have to say they are a bit pricey... maybe it was the steak i wanted but other than that SO SO TASTY!!!! 10 OUT OF 10 FOR TASTE & FRESHNESS!!! 🤟 I had the steak nachos & my husband the smothered burritos & for an apetizer we had the fried taquitos! 😍 so good HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Tried this new place for the first time today. The food is amazing! The staff was super friendly to us. We went right before noon on a Friday. We were able to get ahead of the lunch time crowd. So i think it's best to go early. Got real packed soon after we arrived. It's a hole in the wall type of place. There's only about 6 to 7 tables. Decor was very pretty. Restaurant was clean. We ordered two alcoholic drinks and 3 plates of food. Service was fairly quick. We ordered a smothered burrito, a cali burrito and tacos al pastor. All so fresh and delicious!!! Towards the end when we received our check, the waitress gave us samples of their horchata soft serve. Mmmmmmm! I was stuffed so I couldn't get dessert. But i definitely plan on coming back to try the churros and ice cream as well as other items.
