This is a small bakery basically a takeout shop. There is no sitting space in the bakery. Their pastelitos, croquetas, and bocaditos have been a favorite in my household for years. Their buttercream cake is moist and delicious!

Is a must go place in Miami. Cortadito with evaporated milk is the highlight.

Unique and delicious approach to the classic croquettes!!!! It was my first time at Gilbert’s. I was surprised with all the vegetarian and even vegan choices. I tried several style croquettes: asparagus was mild in taste, not very flavorful - spinach tasted very much like spinach. The Romero croquette was the winner. Full of flavor, a bit spicy with a touch of almonds. The service was fast, and friendly. They even cooked additional croquettes for me. Location was Nice and clean! My hubby ordered a sweet little dessert, and cortadito with evaporated milk. He enjoyed it very much.
The family loves getting sweet little somethings and Flan made with Splenda.
Cortadios is a must.
Gilberts is ALWAYS a hit. My go-to bakery in Miami. The croquetas are the best and the pastelitos are always so fresh.
Food is absolutely out of this world and priced moderately. The only issue is that no sitting is available if eating in.
