. . The place is small. They only allowed a small number of people in at a time. The place has a sign outside. The sign read that marks are required inside. This location is a pick-up only. To my surprise they are well stocked with none stop Jamaican Patties. They have more options to the fillings here. The crust is good. I liked them.
Unbelievably fresh patties! and of the highest quality…the flakiest of delicate crusts yet with a thin strip of moist , pliable, and chewy dough underneath…
I think this issue of pliability is key. So many patty places achieve flaky crusts but the inside is anemic. Taste Rite somehow manages to accomplish the thinnest and flakiest of crusts while ensuring the interior dough is magically pliable.
Almost reminding me of soup dumplings or saltenas, the dough sheaths a rich and savory broth inside that delivers a spicy kick. Steam emanates when you bite the patties open with your teeth.
They also have a stunning variety of fillings that surpass what I’m used to seeing in NYC (ie., Ackee and salt fish , grilled fish with jerk, callaloo, shrimp).

The beef patties are so delicious. So flaky and fresh. A good portion of meaty goodness. The spices are mouth watering. The photo is a half eaten (couldn't wait. The smell alone is enticing) pattie and coco bread. They have a variety of patties ( shrimp, fish, veggie) but I only have eaten the regular pattie.
Don't be taken aback from the look of the place. It doesn't take a large bakery to make the best beef patties in Dade County. The best food spots are a hole in the wall or a diner.
The natural juices are refreshing. Pina and Ginger and SourSop. Fresh with natural juices. No preservatives, sugar or coloring.

If you want to get the best jamaican patties in miami look, no further. I was introduced to this place by a good friend and proceeded to introduce my family and close friends to this hidden gem. The first patty I tried was a traditional beef patty I noticed immediately flaky and fresh they were. These patties are baked fresh around the clock, so I highly recommend requesting a fresh order of the patties. You will be awarded with an attack on your taste buds you never thought possible by these delicious carribean delicacies. My favorite Patty though, is the Jerk Chicken Patty. I can't even put into words how delicious this patty is. Jerk Chicken is one of my top 5 favorite dishes of all time take that put in a flaky hot delicious patty form and you have the ultimate combination of flavors in a compact pastry. Not to mention the service is always fantastic and met with a smile on Saturday mornings when I usually go and if you get a chance try the soup to. Highly HIGHLY recommended
Don't let this whole in the wall fool you . I love there soup I have it at least twice a week. And I always buy my half dozen beef patties here . While I watch the elder lady sing and dance lol . Great place food and people. Enjoy
The best patties flaky fresh and soup is delicious in Florida!!! Always fresh, hot and taste the same. My co worker brought me lunch from here, and I’m hooked. Small but clean.
