Mayor's Cafe

The worst! We gave this place several chances to do things right just because we know the Mayor’s Pembroke Pines excellence. However, we were disappointed EVERY SINGLE TIME. Today, after a few months, we gave them another chance and this was the LAST ONE FOR GOOD. The French toasts is always burnt and raw in the inside. The omelette burnt. And the potatoes, are the worst of the worst. They tasted old and were covered on a who knows what soggy sauce. Just disgusting. But the worst part is when we called the restaurant! The manager answers the phone and turns out HE’S THE COOK TOO! He didn’t want to hear it, he was very rude unnecessarily (because we were very polite) and told us to go somewhere else! We called the Pembroke Pines location and they told us they were not affiliated anymore because they kept on training them and they were not getting it and it was giving a bad name to the company. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

The place is cute and you can tell they've got their share of regulars. Our server was very sweet and checked on us regularly. Breakfast is a pretty straightforward meal and the place was not on a wait so I was surprised so that our food took 43 minutes to come out. All we ordered was 2 Eggs Benedict. I will let the attached picture speak for itself. Never thought a bfast place could butcher an eggs benedict lol. Anyway, I don't believe we would come back as that's our favorite dish for breakfast.

Mayors Cafe never fails to deliver exceptional service. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and courteous. They greet you with a smile and always make sure you are satisfied with the food. I highly recommend anyone whose never been here to be sure to give them a try. You won’t regret it and will be sure to return again and again. You may even get a chance to meet Miami Lakes Mayor Manny acid whose very approachable and kind. To the staff at Mayors Cafe thank you for always providing excellent service.

Start off your day with something amazing. We were only in town for the F1 race, which was also Mother's day weekend. After the first time we were hooked. 3 of 3 days, we were here and had a variety of breakfast & lunch foods. Everything was delicious and cooked properly. The breakfast skillet was great but the Cid sandwich was amazing and by far my favorite. Waited a minimal 15 minutes or so (its a small place) other than of course Sunday with a much longer wait. Different server every time and they were all friendly and attentive even when they were super busy. Looking fwd to our next trip to Miami so we can come back here.

We came to have breakfast today with a friend that recommended this place and what a great surprise! From the moment we walked in everything super clean , servers so personable and on point! The food was delicious! The best is there is something for everyone from amazing bagels to the best French toast we had the French toast with Nutella and bananas! Delicious! We will for sure comeback and try some different flavors of the French toast it was delicious! The best part is that the food is home made and fresh! You can definitely tell the difference when an owner takes pride in their place! It’s Fourth of July weekend and the owner himself was there even came by to say hello to us at our table!

I work as a concierge in the area. I searched far and wide for a decent breakfast spot in the Wharf. It's not easy. There are many arbitrary places. Finally I remembered Mayor's and it's now my favorite spot to send my guests for breakfasts. I get a lot of great feedback whenever I send people over there. Atmosphere is something that cannot be simply manufactured -- Mayor's has it. The food is great too! Everyone's happy!

First and LAST time. I have to start off by saying I wish Emily would have been our server and our experience would have been completely different. She is such a sweet girl and very happy and cordial. Excellent hospitality from her end. But that wasn't my case, we got Gretchen as our server and she was absolutely awful. She made our experience here so unpleasant I will not come back here. She was rude, had a very bad energy to her, never smiled, very un-attentive, never came to check on our table, seemed so unhappy and bitter! Like we were a burden to her instead of guests. Pretty much threw our plates on the table and I had to get other people to bring me our drinks. Even my 9 year old son said her energy was terrible and he was afraid she would spit on our food. So unpleasant. If you go here, make sure you don't get her as a your server and if you do, I hope she treats you well....

The perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or brunch in the Miami Lakes / PSN / Country Club area. The cafe menu is standard, but there are quite a few specialties like the Caleb burger and the avocado eggs benedict. Service is excellent, and decor is modern and pleasant. The ham / mushroom / swiss omelette is exceptional.
