Drinks: so many speciality milkshakes to choose from! They're sweet but not deadly sweet and you get a snack to go along with your drink. Service: they were kind and helpful and patient with me because it was my first time and I'm not the best with deciding. Didn't take too long to get the drink after ordering, maybe 10mins or less. Overall: I enjoyed the shakes and the store itself was colourful and festive when I visited. Definitely a mood lifter. Also, walking around south beach with one of these milkshakes got me a lot of people asking "where did you get that from?!" Verdict: if you're ever in South beach, definitely visit this milkshake shop and I bet you'd be leaving south beach with more than just a milkshake. It was so good we had to do it twice!

Icy-n-Spicy is every sweet-tooth and ice cream lovers’ dream come true! Home of the 24k Gold Madagascar Vanilla ice cream, you’ll find something for everyone. Located in the iconic, Art Deco era Carlyle hotel, you can enjoy your artisan ice cream in paradise…literally! Cross the street and you’ll find yourself on the world famous strip of land known as South Beach. This little gem of a store deserves its own giant storefront on the strip, but it’s tucked away on the bottom floor (right hand side) of the Carlyle Hotel. Look for the colorful Birdcage wall mural and the human sized ice cream statue to lead the way. Everywhere you look, there are bright colors, candy, cones, ice cream, neon signs and bright balloons. My favorite part? The Cotton Candy machine! Hand spun Cotton Candy, a double scoop of your favorite ice cream and your favorite candy topping… sign me up! Large enough that we shared it between the three of us and we enjoyed it as much as our teenager did. Pros: The service was amazing! The sweetest lady behind the counter was happy to let me film the hand spun Cotton Candy process. There’s a super cute, human sized ice cream statue and wall mural for great pictures. You can enjoy your dreamy dessert on the South Beach strip along the beaches and palm trees. Worth every penny and calorie consumed. Icy-n-Spicy has my family’s highest recommendation and we look forward to visiting again soon. Cons: We scarfed our Cotton Candy Ice Cream dream down in under 5 minutes and my husband wouldn’t let me order another one LOL! It’s dessert in paradise… what’s there to complain about?!

GO GO GO! Cotton candy made of dreams and ice cream magic all in one?! Yes please! Icy-N-Spicy is the perfect spot for the kiddies, date night or an insta-worthy dessert! You’ll find yourself struggling to pick just one thing, indeed. The inside of this cute shop is covered from head to toe in bright colors, photo worthy corners and for the little ones - I’d say it’s giving unicorn vibes everywhere. Pro-tip: keep an eye out for parking as you get closer because you’ll be in a busy area! We 10/10 recommend Icy-N-Spicy!!

Genuinely such a beautiful and unique place to hit up before or after the beach! They're worth any detour necessary to get to this wonderful spot!

Very nice place to enjoy good ice cream, very originals, tasty, I really loved my experience there. The only thing I did not like was the place is not too big for the lot of customers they receive

Small little shop tucked in the corner. The place was so colorful, ceiling covered in balloons. Family dropped in because they had heard of it and wanted a couple of scoops. I ordered a tasting scoop of Banana Dulce de Leche, it was to die for. I am happy I asked for the tasting scoop, it is just too rich, awesome but too rich. Worth the extra time on my bike lol.

A tasty milkshake in a fun, colorful atmosphere. The workers were kind, but be aware — the milkshake is VERY filling. For about $17, I guess that makes sense.
