Hungry Howie's Pizza

This place was fire I ordered here looking for some outstanding pizza to quench my hunger and I stumbled across a place called hungry howies I ordered a large pepperoni duo and a Bowie cooking both items were so good that I went back the next day and ordered again the staff were super friendly and communicative best pizza place in Mesa

There are two people in particular that I feel should be recognized, because no business can function without good management- Sarah is the absolute most respectful, personable, kind, professional, and impactful person. She made me and my wife’s experience a really really pleasant and enjoyable one. Secondly, Andrew is the coolest person you’d ever want to meet and maybe I shouldn’t say this but if you ever order from Hingry Howies ask if he’s there- he’s the manager, and when I say nobody makes a pizza this good - omg !!! Not only was the pizza just like the one advertised but it was even better looking and tasting too - his cinnamon sticks are absolutely beautiful too - a true artist I tell you, and his personality makes you feel like family even tho you’re ordering a pizza. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is always kind and the place is ran wonderfully. Even if there ever was a shortcoming it’s be overlooked because the good greatly outweighs any puny shortcomings! Thanks Hungry Howies for being such an important part of our community but also showing us what a real pizza tastes like ! Crust is on 1000 - the sauce is amazing ! Matter of fact I’m about to order another pizza right now because it’s sooooo good !

This rating is based on this being a low cost, counter pick up pizza place in comparison to Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc (not sit down like Mellow Mushroom). This is the best there is if you are looking for a cheap pizza option. Their seasoned crust and garlic parmesan bread sets them above the rest. On their original you will get the perfect amount of sauce, very cheesy, perfectly baked base, well seasoned crust and a moderate amount of toppings. I will say I expected more toppings based on the pictures but we got one of the deals on the website, $25 for 2 large 1 topping + Howie Bread, so maybe that merited a decrease in toppings. Looking at the reviews, I would recommend ordering directly from their website (especially for the deals) or by phone and picking up the order. I had a 20 minute drive to get there and it was ready when I arrived. Staff were great, no complaints there.

I was Hungry again for some Howies in western Mesa while I was sitting at Starbucks outside(no indoor seating)in 107F weather. I lucked out and saw a mirage(like Treasure of the Sierra Madre)that was real: An HH directly ahead of me in the adjacent shopping center. I strolled over or should I say staggered over in the outdoor oven that is Mesa now and was warmly greeted by GM Jessica. She made my day(Clint Eastwood style)with a totally satisfying and delicious smorgasbord of boneless asian wings, loaded pizza and 3 cheese bread. It all tasted great and Jessica provided world class service. Hungry Howies and my stomach win again. Highly recommended.
