I forgot how much I love hungry howies! I had nine people I needed to feed yesterday after I moved into a new place and needed to use my EBT to do so. I remember that hungry Howie's is part of the hot food program at work in Arizona and I went and got six pizzas for about $55
Thank you Hungry Howie 😌 the pizzas are always fresh and hot 🔥.. I also looooooveee the Cesar salad 🥗😋
This place was fire I ordered here looking for some outstanding pizza to quench my hunger and I stumbled across a place called hungry howies I ordered a large pepperoni duo and a Bowie cooking both items were so good that I went back the next day and ordered again the staff were super friendly and communicative best pizza place in Mesa
This rating is based on this being a low cost, counter pick up pizza place in comparison to Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc (not sit down like Mellow Mushroom). This is the best there is if you are looking for a cheap pizza option.
Their seasoned crust and garlic parmesan bread sets them above the rest. On their original you will get the perfect amount of sauce, very cheesy, perfectly baked base, well seasoned crust and a moderate amount of toppings. I will say I expected more toppings based on the pictures but we got one of the deals on the website, $25 for 2 large 1 topping + Howie Bread, so maybe that merited a decrease in toppings.
Looking at the reviews, I would recommend ordering directly from their website (especially for the deals) or by phone and picking up the order. I had a 20 minute drive to get there and it was ready when I arrived. Staff were great, no complaints there.

There are two people in particular that I feel should be recognized, because no business can function without good management- Sarah is the absolute most respectful, personable, kind, professional, and impactful person. She made me and my wife’s experience a really really pleasant and enjoyable one. Secondly, Andrew is the coolest person you’d ever want to meet and maybe I shouldn’t say this but if you ever order from Hingry Howies ask if he’s there- he’s the manager, and when I say nobody makes a pizza this good - omg !!! Not only was the pizza just like the one advertised but it was even better looking and tasting too - his cinnamon sticks are absolutely beautiful too - a true artist I tell you, and his personality makes you feel like family even tho you’re ordering a pizza. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is always kind and the place is ran wonderfully. Even if there ever was a shortcoming it’s be overlooked because the good greatly outweighs any puny shortcomings! Thanks Hungry Howies for being such an important part of our community but also showing us what a real pizza tastes like ! Crust is on 1000 - the sauce is amazing ! Matter of fact I’m about to order another pizza right now because it’s sooooo good !
I went to hungry howies and was immediately greeted by a funny yet respectful man he gave me my food and i went on with my day but the food was amazing i didn’t expect it to be amazing

This howies location has better cooks than the one on lemon st in Tempe. Although their delivery fee is higher, I rather pay that for a pizza that isnt burnt and actually has pizza sauce.
The food was excellent. The service was on point. They even called to make sure everything was okay because I was running very late.

Very tasty pizza. They didn't skimp on cheese ( like most places) and they didn't kill it with too much sauce like some places, good pizza always has lots of cheese in my view... and the thin flavor crust was pretty good , I got Asiago flavor . The pepperoni and grilled chicken was great. Overall a good pizza for the price in my opinion, nice employees too! My first time there but I don't think my last... Good find😁

I had one issue with Hungry Howie's and it wasn't with the location, but rather the website. I ordered a special that had 1 large and 1 medium, but it showed up on their end as 2 mediums. I expressed my concern when I paid for it and the manager explained that they were getting a new computer system so it shouldn't happen again. He then gave me a credit to use on a future order. I felt that was more than fair enough. I had used part of the credit fairly quickly, but didn't order again for a month or so. When I called to order again, the new system deleted my credit. The manager said that without proof, they couldn't really help me. I didn't think it was more than a few bucks so I ordered online and when I went to pick up my order, the manager said he gave me a credit on my account for a free pizza on my next visit due to the issue with the new system deleting my credit. Not only is the food great but the service is also fantastic! Thank you Hungry Howie's for continuing to have great customer service!
