Just got back from there. Very good sandwiches! I had the half pound brisket. It was loaded and no bbq sauce which I love, I like adding my own. My wife had the green chili in a cup with cheese for those who don't eat tortillas! I recommend this place!
I had the pulled pork sandwich and the burnt ends both were top notch. High five for leaving the BBQ sauce on the side, no need to sauce good BBQ. All the sauces were pretty good. I was disappoint that jalapenos were not on the menu. I will be back soon.

Y’all this place was amazing. Me and my wife went here on a Friday afternoon and enjoyed amazing soul food, southern style barbecue I had the peanut butter and jelly brisket sandwich and my wife had the brisket, bean and cheese burrito but enchilada style and it did not disappoint. We also had the green mango salsa Which came with a huge bag of chips and two drinks we had so much food we were able to take it home and eat it for dinner. The customer service was amazing. It was clean. There was plenty of space and it literally sits on a whole orchard if you have time stop next-door and do some fresh produce shopping. We spent 60 bucks.
A colleague of mine RAVED about Jalapeño Bucks, so we decided to give the restaurant a try. In my opinion, it was Good. Please note I visited the restaurant an hour before closing, so I can't say with confidence I received the best cuts of meat. The service staff, inside the order and food prep booth, was FANTASTIC. They helped us understand the menu options. Provided great recommendations and were very friendly. While my brisket sandwich was good, my dinner partners pork sandwich was dry.
We loved our brisket sandwiches. I got the PB&J brisket and it was surprisingly really good. We loved their BBQ sauce.
Taking a star off since it's only outdoor seating. It was brutally hot today. We didn't know that beforehand, or I definitely wouldn't have gone. Overall, glad we did!
This BBQ/Mexican Fusion is next level. Been living in Mesa for over 4 years and finally had the chance to visit after hearing so many positive experiences and it definitely did not disappoint.
Went with the Brisket, Egg and Cheese breakfast burrito and it was complimented perfectly with the bbq sauce/salsa that accompanied it.
Only downside is food is a bit pricey but at least you won’t leave full!
If you’re a regular, you know you voted for Jalanpeno Bucks! We came here a few times and every time we LOVED it! Best barbecue place around. Yummy BBQ sauces and Arnold Palmers too! There’s a farm with fresh oranges and honey on the same property, I swear they must use it in their sauces and drinks😋
Upset I spent money on the guacamole, it was just the basic one that you get in a pack. I’ll have to try the salsa next time though, it looks freshly made.
This is a great stop!! The portion size is huge!! Had a pulled pork and brisket sandwich..both were amazing and the potato salad and coleslaw were superb! The cheese quesadillia looked good and my kid totally approved of it! I am somewhat of a bbq snob and this definitely would be worth coming back and having again! Thanks Jalepeno Buck's for a great lunch!!
Had the brisket, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito. Wow! The brisket was flavorful and moist. More than half of the filling was brisket; there is no need to worry about not getting your money's worth! The salsa they served with it complimented the flavors nicely as well. Enough heat to let you know it was there, but not so much that it overpowered the other flavors.
Great road side BBQ and Burrito place. Outside dining only. Next to a farmer’s market. Huge portions and reasonable prices.
We had the green chili beef burrito and it was soooo good We couldn't believe it, it was better than some Mexican restaurants out there. The service was great and the food came out fast. There is something about eating outside under a tree with a nice breeze. It was it first time and it will not be or last, everyone there is so friendly. Already know that the next time I'm definitely trying the pulled pork. Oh yeah can't forget to tell you that their red salsa is 🔥.
Love this outdoor eatery on the Nirth end of Nesa in the orange groves. Nice roadside atmosphere! Great food. Sweet service. And it was so fast!!!
