Today's choice does not disappoint. Located on the corner of a strip mall, there is plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor space.
The place has high energy, and a very upbeat vibe. The baristas were very cheerful and helpful with our coffee drinks.
They have a motto here called "FUEL YOUR STORY." After all, isn't that one of the beautiful things about caffeine? That it not only energizes but gives you fuel and confidence to face your day?
We opted to have a couple of espresso drinks. The espresso is a very balanced roast, and is not burnt or charcoal flavored at all.
Would I recommend this place? Yes, definitely. Would I come back next time I'm in the area? Yes!
Trust me, you will not be disappointed to make this your regular stop.
If your visiting from away or local stop by and get some good coffee from Black Rock Coffee Bar. Friendly atmosphere, kid friendly, dog friendly. Outside tables/ chairs . Plenty of parking in dirt if busy. Great staff!! and prices are reasonable
I moved here recently and have been meaning to stop at this local coffee shop. I just came in this afternoon and ordered a delicious Caramel Truffle chiller. I also want to say that the ambience is so nice here. It is very inviting and it has great views with a very desert feel. There is plenty of seating and it has a calmer vibe than a coffee shop in the city (like Tempe or Phoenix) that has more of a rushed atmosphere. With all of the nice furniture it is as though they genuinely want you to stay a while. Stop in when you are in the mood for some coffee. They also have a drive thru if you are on the go. Five star review for me!
Good service. The hibiscus iced tea was perfect. Blended chai was tasty but too sweet (as it is many places). I appreciated offer of cinnamon on top. The warmed almond croissant was well baked and delicious. Unfortunately I won't be at this location much because the only outlets were by the couch and a low table, which is not a comfortable way to work.
The gentlemen helped my pop out with a drink order for my mom that he was taking back to Globe. He put the order inside a larger cup with ice to keep it cold. Really appreciated how he created a solution and was very kind. I will be a customer her from now on because of this interaction. Good job young man!
This is a wonderful coffee spot to get some studying in, get work done, or visit with a friend. There is nice indoor and outdoor seating - and plenty of it! Some coffee shops are wonderful and have a great vibe but not enough space. This one has the vibe, the seating, the space, and always seems to be well staffed. I enjoyed just a simple espresso shot on ice but it was very good! Craving it now even….. ! There is also a drive-through…. haven’t used it yet, but love when cafes have that option.

This Black Rock coffee location is the best I have seen so far! They have the usual glass garage door that opens to the outside and they have outside seating! That’s a big deal for Arizona during the winter time. The bathrooms were clean and their drinks are larger than Starbucks. Who loves Black Rock coffee products? What’s your favorite?
This is it! Love our neighborhood Black Rock! Great drip coffee and specialty drinks. Friendly staff. Our go to coffee shop. Ditch the ‘bucks.
