Today's choice does not disappoint. Located on the corner of a strip mall, there is plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor space.
The place has high energy, and a very upbeat vibe. The baristas were very cheerful and helpful with our coffee drinks.
They have a motto here called "FUEL YOUR STORY." After all, isn't that one of the beautiful things about caffeine? That it not only energizes but gives you fuel and confidence to face your day?
We opted to have a couple of espresso drinks. The espresso is a very balanced roast, and is not burnt or charcoal flavored at all.
Would I recommend this place? Yes, definitely. Would I come back next time I'm in the area? Yes!
Trust me, you will not be disappointed to make this your regular stop.

If your visiting from away or local stop by and get some good coffee from Black Rock Coffee Bar. Friendly atmosphere, kid friendly, dog friendly. Outside tables/ chairs . Plenty of parking in dirt if busy. Great staff!! and prices are reasonable

I moved here recently and have been meaning to stop at this local coffee shop. I just came in this afternoon and ordered a delicious Caramel Truffle chiller. I also want to say that the ambience is so nice here. It is very inviting and it has great views with a very desert feel. There is plenty of seating and it has a calmer vibe than a coffee shop in the city (like Tempe or Phoenix) that has more of a rushed atmosphere. With all of the nice furniture it is as though they genuinely want you to stay a while. Stop in when you are in the mood for some coffee. They also have a drive thru if you are on the go. Five star review for me!

Good service. The hibiscus iced tea was perfect. Blended chai was tasty but too sweet (as it is many places). I appreciated offer of cinnamon on top. The warmed almond croissant was well baked and delicious. Unfortunately I won't be at this location much because the only outlets were by the couch and a low table, which is not a comfortable way to work.

The gentlemen helped my pop out with a drink order for my mom that he was taking back to Globe. He put the order inside a larger cup with ice to keep it cold. Really appreciated how he created a solution and was very kind. I will be a customer her from now on because of this interaction. Good job young man!

This is a wonderful coffee spot to get some studying in, get work done, or visit with a friend. There is nice indoor and outdoor seating - and plenty of it! Some coffee shops are wonderful and have a great vibe but not enough space. This one has the vibe, the seating, the space, and always seems to be well staffed. I enjoyed just a simple espresso shot on ice but it was very good! Craving it now even….. ! There is also a drive-through…. haven’t used it yet, but love when cafes have that option.

This Black Rock coffee location is the best I have seen so far! They have the usual glass garage door that opens to the outside and they have outside seating! That’s a big deal for Arizona during the winter time. The bathrooms were clean and their drinks are larger than Starbucks. Who loves Black Rock coffee products? What’s your favorite?

I got here as a regular (2-3 maybe more), times a week as i work, live and a go to school round the corner. Whilst I have only tried all the fuels they have, its some of the best caffeine I’ve ever had. I am known there by name and for my car (easily recognisable lol) and every time I meet the same people that have all made such a welcoming atmosphere that much better!

Great coffee in East Mesa... FINALLY! I was completely blown away by their friendly service, great coffee, and INSANE atmosphere. This place is what hipsters dream of, plenty of open tables to read a book, work on a project, or chill with friends. I haven't seen the garage doors open yet, but I'm sure when the weather is nice it's going to be phenomenal. Vegan coffee options available (dairy free milks offered)

Already made a review but do not mind making another. Great caramel truffle! Another location did not put chocolate sauce in the drink but that's OK, drank it anyway. Friendly drive thru service!

The atmosphere here is unlike most other Cafes and Starbucks’. The inside is designed with large, open ceilings, concrete floors, and wide garage-door style windows/doors. They open the oversized doors in ideal weather and it literally feels like they are calling the outside community to come in and belong when they do. This location has leather sofas for socializing with multiple friends, patios large enough to accommodate more than two bodies at one time, and boast SQUARE hardwood tables that are sturdy and large enough to hold more than one book or laptop at time. The entire layout of these Black Rock’s, this location included, is unmistakably open in design and feel. I love coming here.

BR is the best. Great reward program, always great customer service and their coffee is some of the best around. I used to have one across the street before we moved but having one within 10 miles was a must for our new home.... Came in close with 8 miles but still close enough to visit.

Love this place!! Great cold brew!!! My daughter loves the kids shakes and smoothies that cone in a little kids cup shaped like a crayon. Staff are super friendly and polite.
