I love the hometown diner atmosphere. And 2 things define a good diner, ice water when you order coffee and a spoon with the silverware set. They had both and were awesome people!

We have our Thanksgiving dinner here each year as do several of our friends. It has a small town cafe feel. They serve the holiday meal to order (no buffet). And, we enjoy it every year.

Always recommend this place for lunch and take my family and friends for the tummy home-cooked food! This trip is the first time the service was not top rate. It was a Monday, so not a busy day. Five of us were promptly seated but after 15+ min, I had to find someone to get menus (we were hungry). The food took much longer than normal (not just because we were HUNGRY) and when it came out, one of the orders was wrong and had to be remade. By the time that meal was served, the rest of us were finishing up. We got a free bottle of soda out of it, which was a nice gesture. Nobody was really complaining... this is just a one-time review and I'll be back and still recommend the Little Mesa Cafe - eatery gem in the East Valley.

This is my favorite Cafe in Mesa. Every time I'm in town, I take the time to stop in and grab a plate. The prices are reasonable, especially for the portion size. The only thing that puts me off about the service/atmosphere is a very clear favritotism for the regulars. It unfortunately affects the service you receive if you arrive earlier in the day. (They are short with you or absent when their favorite customers are in) Thankfully during the dinner rush, I've never experienced that type of service. They are very family friendly and overall have a comfortable home like atmosphere.

The best. Family owned for 40 years.Debbie the owner is great. Love the pork chops with bone in, the real homemade turkey soup, the ham croissants, the pecan & blueberry pies, everything is homemade

Place was great went in about 3; late lunch early dinner. service was great, they had spaghetti, chicken or veal parm for special. But I actually found something on the menu that I hadn't seen in awhile, a hot beef sandwich, was not disappointed. Came with a salad or soup, took half of the sandwich home and it was definitely worth it

Never tried before last week…my Dad chose it for his bday lunch :-) it was surprisingly delicious! The restaurant itself appears a bit dated but the food was great….food quality and taste is the most important thing when dining out 😁 I had the special- pasta tortellini….they even gave a complimentary slice of pie and ice cream! Very yummy!

Wow!! What great customer service, what great host they have in this place. IT’s family owned they have the youngsters working so that they learn and understand responsibility early in in life, man this place deserves more then 5 stars! Absolutely amazing. Thank you Little Mesa Cafe.
