From start to finish our dining experience at Baby Kay's Cajun Kitchen was fabulous. We arrived a few minutes before 6:00 on a Saturday night and the place was hopping. We chose to sit at the bar rather than outside or wait for an inside table. The bartender greeted us immediately and was attentive without being overly attentive throughout our meal. There was a gentleman playing blues on an electric guitar which added to the ambience. We started out with hush puppies and beer (Abita Amber) followed by our entrees of jambalaya and the Cajun Combination. All was delicious but my favorite was the shrimp Étouffée that came in the combination. Hush puppies were so good (the real thing not what is served at LJS). No room for dessert but the pecan pie and the key lime pie looked yummy.

Truely awesome authentic Cajun food. Just enough heat for the Cajun feel but not overwhelming. Had boudin balls, crawfish etouffee, chicken & andouille sausage gumbo and jambalaya. Can’t wait to go back to try more items on the menu.

By having a creole background, I had to take a pit stop by this east Mesa 💎. Ratings is definitely a 4.5 or higher. The good was delicious. I'm a little on the savory side with more heat on the spices. However, this certainly hits the spot. Seafood gumbo, chicken gumbo, jambalaya, etouffee, and red beans and rice were spot on. If you like a variety, I recommend ordering the combination. The service was friendly. I was surprised at how quickly the food was delivered onced ordered. The atmosphere is open, and the interior had a good vibe to it. There was a musician playing a variety of live music and classical blues. Pull up to this location if you like Cajun food, you will not be disappointed. I'm definitely looking forward to sampling other dishes on the menu.

What a fun spot. Tucked at the end of a strip mall this place serves up some great food. Greeted with live Blues and seated quickly it wasn’t long before I settled on the combo dinner at the recommendation of my killer server Lizzie. She was super pleasant and the right amount of attentive. The gumbo was my favorite and if I ever find myself back this way the Po-Boy looked really good. And if you’re a fan of Key Lime pie, there’s is legit.

I went there during lunch on a weekday. The atmosphere is great. It almost feels like you’re in an old restaurant in Louisiana. The beer selection has lots of local Louisiana beers but not a ton of variety in types of beers. It’s heavy on the IPAs. I got a Shrimp Po Boy. It was a little dry but still good. It came with a ton of fries. I’ll definitely go back. Probably would try some other entrees. Hopefully on a weekend or evening when there’s music.

I absolutely LOVE Baby Kay's!!!! We've been coming here for years. When I was young, and a picky eater, I would get the Shrimp Po'Boy sandwich which was great. My mom has only ever order the Crawfish Etouffee, which is her favorite Cajun food, and her favorite thing on the menu. Now that I'm older I always order either (or sometimes both) the Shrimp Etouffee or the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Both are absolutely amazing, but the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo might be my personal favorite. And the garlic bread it comes with is amazing too!! I would highly, highly recommend!! And we normal come here for lunch, but if you come for dinner you have the chance to hear some very atmospheric and talented live music!! It's busier at dinner, but definitely worth the wait!!

It was good, I could tell that there is someone there that is from Louisiana because the boudain was just like home. The gumbo was good, the roux could have been a little thicker and less oily, but gumbo is very hard to recreate so they did a good job. I tried several different things and lastly I loved the Lulu wings they were awesome 👍 The boudain is spot on, I love this place it is truly a little taste of home 🏡

The atmosphere definitely reminds me of being in LA. I enjoyed the cajun flavors! Boudin Balls with apricot jelly was delicious! Chicken/Sausage Gumbo and the Chicken/Shrimp Pasta was perfect! Price per plate/serving size is right on. The place was clean and the Service was also pleasant. Thank you! 👍

Food was delicious and service was impeccable. There wasn't much of a crowd which was nice. Ordered Cajun Combo with chicken and sausage gumbo which had a little spice but was delicious. Loved this place and will be back

Cant get very much better than this. Lets start with Lizzie. Awesome server with a great personality. She explained the menu items i asked about. Was attentive during our visit and patient with our group (8 friends all from out of town). My portion of the bill was for half order of seafood enchiladas over dirty rice, 3 catfish tacos, chicken and sausage gumbo, side salad, and finally bread pudding for dessert. All of the food was AWESOME. Great flavors with just a bit of spice. Prices were decent. Seemed very appropriate for the quality and amount of food we received. We would recommend this spot to anyone.
