Mcdonald's

This is easily the best-run McDs in Arlington. Drive-thru line is efficient, and the food, well it is McD's, so lower expectations. There’s a friendly group of Seniors that hangs out in the dining area for breakfast. Always appreciated their bond and sense of community. I’ve also found it to be a great place to have a quick meeting where you might both be driving….the Starbucks in Ballston have awkward parking situations. There are a few homeless that also eat there, but all friendly or keep to themselves.

I asked the cashier at the drive thru if she had applied the coupon I have her twice and she said yes. I asked:are you sure? After paying I realized that she didn't. Once I go to pick my food, they make me wait at the thrift window. Waited a long time, and they had given the the wrong items. Thinking it was gonna be faster, I go back thru the drive thru, and once I tell them what the issue was, they asked me to wait again at the 3rd window. I ended up being there for more than 20 minutes, trying to get my food right.

It was late at night and the POS system appeared to be down. Travis and staff patiently took my order by hand and were proficient at calculating and inputting the order amount into the register manually (at the time they could only take cash). They gave great customer service, even checking if my order was okay and if needed anything in addition. I believe these two employees went above and beyond their responsibilities and were able to find and work a solution instead of giving a lame excuse because the system was broken. Thank you Travis and staff, for working late and getting my order correctly!
