Update! Diego was our server and made it a truly special experience. I had the Just Egg Tacos and a classic mimosa. 10/10 would recommend. I hope we get Diego as our server the next time we go.

We stopped in for a late breakfast and had a wonderful experience here. Our waitress was on-point and anticipated all our needs, refilling our piping hot coffee and bringing us various accoutrements for our eggs. Everything was tasty - especially the biscuits! And you can't beat the classic 50's-style diner vibes.

Love this place. Always come for avocado toast with salmon or the shrimp and grits on the weekend. The kicking corn and clam chowder is also a personal favorite. Had Diego as a waiter today and he was great—Personable, quick, and attentive.

We stopped by for a Dine Out event for our school and had the pleasure of Peter being our server tonight. He was beyond kind, attentive, funny and personable to each table. You can tell he truly loves what he does and that does not go unrecognized. We need more servers like Peter in the world 🌎

I come every week, love the place and the service. Diego was lovely even though I ask for change my Bloody Mary bc I didn’t know it was spicy (my fault) hahah he was super nice.

All in all service was amazing our waiter was Diego, he had really great personality. The atmosphere great per usual. This is still one of my favorite breakfast spots, but we usually go to Silver Diner, this time something different about the food. We found a carrot that was black and my fiancé liver was a little bit undercooked than it usually is, the chicken noodle soup was lukewarm and the peas in the pod were a bit undercooked.

Delicious food at the "new" (not the 90s, early 2000s?) silver diner. Pumpkin spice cold brew shake was perfectly balanced between savory coffee and sweatness (spice as intermediary). The new omelette was delicious, with sweet balsamic against savory whipped ricotta and goat cheese. Side salad was balanced with spinach, citrus, and strawberry. The waiter was really helpful and pleasant. It would be nice if they did a modern take on the ice cream soda (milk, sugar, ice cream, seltzer) but with a spin.

I’ve loved this place since I was a kid in the 2000s, and it’s only gotten better every time I come back. I don’t live in the DC area anymore but I always try to come here when I visit.
The menu has so many options and the food is very fresh and usually locally sourced.
Our waiter today Diego was fantastic. He recommended the med style salad and pita 👌🏻 it was delicious
