I ordered all of our Thanksgiving sides from here this year and was very excited, as this is one of my most favorite places to eat and get food. I ordered the "whipped potatoes" from their Holiday menu and when we all sat down to dinner, no one could eat them because there was SO much garlic in them (mind you, we love garlic!). I'm disappointed because I tried to bring this to their attention and got zero response. But usually, this place has been OUTSTANDING

My family shops here for high quality marinated steak tips, turkey breasts, chicken. We also like tortellini salad, broccoli salad, few other side dishes. Love the chocolate chip cookies!! Fancy desserts but overpriced as some can be purchased actoss the street at Hannaford for 1/3 less. They also have some fish, wine. So much to offer in a small store.
When there was a slight mistake with my order they handled it with poise and kindness even though they were very busy. Also thru some miscommunication on my part and a bit of frustration they were courteous and apologetic and remade my order quickly and it was delicious. I apologized for my frustration and truly believe they did an amazing job all around! Really good pizza! Much appreciated!
Beef tips are great. Pizzas are great. Pasta salad good, too. °°° Register/customer service issue. Wanted to buy some beef bones in the case, knew right where it was. Went to the register by the door to check out. Saw a jar of Stubbs Barbeque sauce sitting there, but no one was there. A man came over and told me I'd have to go to another register. I placed the bones down, and walked out of the store. My question: why should I be inconvenienced because the person before can't complete their order before going to the register? And why couldn't the cashier either suspend the previous order, or re-ring it? Think about it: the whole register is now on hold, and everyone who wants to check out must redirect because of one shopper? Three and a half stars. ~ Next time stick up for all of your customers, not just that 'one special one.'
The Wine’ing Butcher Shop is amazing. Their meats are of the highest quality and you definitely can taste the difference. I love the steak tips and side dishes. Sometimes I freeze the side dishes to have on hand because they are that good. When I have a special occasion, I always shop here for my prime rib or filet mignon. The butcher has also vacuum packed my items when I needed to transport for vacation. Thank you for providing the community with a fantastic store.
Excellent food, take out prices are cheaper than McDonald's with way better quality of food,
I can’t say enough good things about The Wine’ing Butcher! I’ve never had a bad experience here. They have been our go to for our yearly traditional Christmas roast. Our entire family looks forward to that roast every year. There is a great selection of meats, prepared foods and many more items. I highly recommend.
Just passed by Meredith on my tour of the lakes region, decided to stop at this store that was advertised on FaceBook. I was visually accosted by who I could only assume was the manager. After a tense and uncomfortable 10 minutes in the store, I left with some chicken breasts. Despite his awkward stares, the chicken was good.
What a FABULOUS place to grab some grub.! They have anything from Subs, Pizzas, Burgers to Marinated Steaktips and Chicken. Sides that are all preped and ready to go as well as desserts items.
Personal favorite has to be their Monterey Turkey Sandwich.! The staff is always so friendly and quick at getting the food ready. Madi over there ROCKS.!! She is such a delight to have there.!
This is my go to place for high end beef cuts, especially the marinated bourbon steak tips. When your hosting company for the weekend, you’ll have everyone raving about how fantastic the tips were!
High quality meats. Freshly ground beef for those who are particular about their hamburgers! And several different types of marinated beef and chicken for the grill. Lots of gourmet sandwich options and also a decent selection of high quality cheeses. Limited produce is available also as well as a few types of select chips and snack type things. A bit pricey, but definitely better quality meats than available at the grocery stores in the area. They also have lots of types of salads by the pound and some prepared dishes to heat up.
It's tough to get in-and-out of there quickly, especially if they're making a sandwich for you, but worth the wait if you want a quality grilled meal.
