I don’t know what’s going on at this kfc but the food is seriously bad. It wasn’t always this way. It used to be on par w all the rest but this past 2 years something has changed. I know resources for supplies have been unsettled since covid but this is totally ridiculous and should be concerning to the corporation. It began the October before covid. This food doesn’t even taste like kfc. I picked up a 6-pc box of biscuits which are usually perfect after being re-warmed for 10 seconds in my microwave. It’s been this way for 35 years. Before I even warmed them they were like rocks. I noticed as soon as I held one. After re-heating 10 seconds, they broke into tiny hard pebbles after I broke one apart w my fingers. My dad whom usually asks me to get him a few extra for the morning didn’t touch them. They ended up being tossed w the rest of the food except the corn. My 3-pc meal…wow. Horrible! The chicken was tiny. I know wings are usually small so I let that one go even though it was smaller than usual. But look at the pic…I’ve never such a minuscule thigh from anywhere let alone kfc. YES! THIS IS AN ACTUAL PC OF CHICKEN PURCHASED FROM KFC!! Barely 3 inches including the fried skin making up a good portion of the last inch on the right! The drumstick wasn’t much better though it was slightly longer but didn’t have much meat. Neither did, and what there was was dry. The distinct flavor & texture of extra crispiness was missing, and it was more like shake n bake chicken skin which is not even chicken skin. What a rip off. There’s no way the kfc corporation would allow this chicken to be sold as “theirs”. It’s atrocious. Is the owner getting their chicken from some cheap, back alley distributor?? I noticed the plastic containers that usually have red lids are now completely clear. There were other minor changes as well that I took notice but weren’t really problematic. But I did notice altogether various changes and while they didn’t directly affect the food, led me to believe something was going on at this particular location as far as management, supplies, vendors, etc. Back to the food…My corn was halfway full. My mashed potatoes & gravy was suppose to be Mac n cheese. The 2 chicken strips were chewy, dried and old. But when I tasted the coleslaw, I knew 100% for sure that something was going on and it wasn’t good. I hate cabbage. The only time I’ll eat it is in kfc coleslaw. Nothing else and no other coleslaw. Kfc slaw has a very diff type taste unlike others. But after a bite of todays kfc slaw, I was disgusted. It tasted like mayo. I had my mom taste it to make sure it wasn’t just my taste buds. What I tasted was not a flavor I’ve ever tasted in kfc slaw which is probably why I’ve always loved it. But whatever it was I ate that day was NOT kfc coleslaw. It left me wondering if to cut costs they are using a different recipe or vendor? It didn’t taste spoiled either so that couldn’t be the cause. Altogether this was the most awful tasting kfc I’ve ever had. For what I paid, the amount, taste, and size of the chicken was seriously lacking. I tried contacting the corporate office to ask what was going on because this was not just a one off of being served some old or under/over cooked food. I explained I didn’t want a refund but to alert them of a serious issue they should look into. I never heard back. Most of the time they just forward the complaint to the store manager and I assumed they just didn’t bother w contacting me because they’re already well aware of what’s going on. I did, however, get a partial refund from door dash. I decided to not eat there for awhile. The next time I did, 10 months later, it looked & tasted “normal” again. Then the next time (a month later), I had the same awful experience w tiny chicken & halfway full sides. At least the biscuits weren’t hard and the food was edible but not authentic kfc. I’d skip this kfc and get your food from the one across town to be sure you won’t end up in the same situation as I. And still, I don’t know what’s going on at this location! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!

Customer service is terrible and customer focus is nonexistent. On 4/9/22 6:30pm I stoped by the restaurant for some chicken and was told to take my order outside to the drive through, note I did not drive to this restaurant so me fearing for my safety came first. I felt very uncomfortable placing my order in a area where vehicles are meant to drive freely. The manager and owners of this restaurant was willing put lives of their customer’s in Jeopardy so they can stay out of the light when it came to process.

The pandemic has caused a massive dip in service and quality. Some days they won't let you order at the restaurant and it has to be online. Some days you aren't allowed to go in to pick up your order and it has to be through drive thru (fun if you don't have a car). The menu options have also been severely cut.

Very rude semi chunky lady looks overweight not obese probably 5'6 or 5'7 been standing there for 20 minutes waiting for my pick up order, there staring at me as if I haven't told them who I'm here for, then I ask them to check on my order again, and she ignores me and just goes to the back without a word, and when she brings my simple 12 piece bucket, I say thank you in a loud tone since she was being passive aggressive, and she gives me a rude "YUP" ....very unprofessional wish I'd got her name to put her on blast, might go back in and ask her later and update this review. Unprofessional customer service equals bad review.

It's fast food! People, please be realistic when you go to fast food, for what we paid for these lil box lunches it was fine. The place was clean, the people were nice. Our only issue was that the place seemed understaffed which meant that a dirty table was not cleaned for a bit of time. So we cleaned our own table and when the staff came to clean it she seemed annoyed that we had done so ourselved.
Other than that everyone was really nice and the kids did not overeat and we did not overspend. 🍗 It was fine for crying out loud - it's a fast food chicken place! It was what we expected no surprises on the positive or the negative! That's a good thing.🍗
🍗 All in all, it is a cute KFC A&W combo. It has some neat decorations too .

I went through drive thru and spent quite a bit of money but when I got home the food seemed old so I called and spoke with the manager and told her of my experience and she was more than willing to fix the problem, not only did she give me what I ordered but she went above and beyond. I ordered a 12 pc strip and a 6 pc wing when I got home with my replacement order there was at least 24 strips and 12 wings. Now this is what I call customer service!!! Thank you so much for making a bad experience a great one!!!

Ordered delivery 3 different times, all three times we were missing items. Called the restaurant and they blamed doordash. The last time half of the order was missing. This is the only restaurant we have this issue, I will never buy from them again

Their food is good but they still don't have indoor dining. We went to Merced just to eat there and have a family night out and they basically ruined it by not having indoor dining.
