Sometimes when I go to different organizations meetings for my job, at lunchtime meeting, they get it catered from Toni's Courtyard!!! And sometimes, me and Debra Anderson have gone there for lunch a time or two! ;) I love their different Iced Teas they make! I just love that place all together!!! ;)
My husband and I walked in and were seated right away. I ordered the Chicken Panini with Sweet Potato Fries on the side. Our food was served pretty quick. And It was delicious! Before we left, my husband bought some Biscotti. We had that with tea by the time we got home. The customer service is awesome! We will be back again! And we highly recommend this cafe/bakery to everyone we know! Thank you for such great service!

Toni's Courtyard Cafe has the best breakfast (yummy French Toast) and Lunch in Merced. She always has had the best. Her food is fresh, her portions enough for two, and prices extremely reasonable. The atmosphere reminds me of many of the European cafés I frequented while living in Europe, especially Paris. The baked goods are fabulous, and Toni's Banana and Pumpkin breads are better than my own! You'll never be disappointed when choosing Toni's Courtyard Cafe for your dining pleasure.

Bev Evans. My husband and I do love the Courtyard Café. The ambience, waitpersons and food are excellent. The owner, Toni, is a sweetheart and always warmly greets us. My husband likes breakfast and I'm a lunch person so we go around 10:30 to get both! I'm especially partial to the outdoor dining experience on their charming patio. We bring our out-of-town guests here so they can have a real taste of what Merced is all about and everyone is always pleased.
Today we were too early for lunch so I ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes and side of sausage. OH MY!!! The stack was indeed short (2) but just a bit larger than the plate! Reminded me of a truck stop breakfast!! LOL. But, that's where the comparison ended….have never had such perfectly cooked, fluffy and stuffed with blueberries, pancakes anywhere else. They were so melt-in-the mouth delicious….hardly even needed syrup!!!
My advice…..try this restaurant just once and see if you can stay away!!!
LAGUNA BEACH, CA. I had the wonderful experience of enjoying breakfast at Toni's and a catered lunch. I'm sure Toni got tired of me asking, "How did you make this?" One of Toni's secrets is using the finest ingredients. This in combination with her passion for creating recipes and al dente taste create a unique delectable cousine. Don't deny yourself this experience if you are in Merced. It is amazing how she still keeps her prices so reasonable.
The Best In Town. I love everything about Toni's Courtyard Cafe & Bakery! It is a must try if you haven't dined at Toni's. Toni makes the best EVERYTHING!
Nothing but Love for Toni's. Toni's is amazing. I love their salads, sandwiches, focaccia, sweet potato fries, coffee, and baked yummies. Perfect lunch spot, and they have a fabulous catering menu. Even though they are always packed during lunch, they always manage to deliver great service.
Cookie!. I popped in for some coffee this morning and tried the peanut butter cookie sample...oh my goodness! Melt in your mouth deliciousness!!!
I've been going to this place for years, and is definitely a hidden gem in this small town of Merced! The customer service is always on point, drinks are never low, and the quality of food matches their pricing. Doesn't matter if it's breakfast or lunch, this place doesn't miss the mark. All of their food is freshly made, and the biscuits are to die for. Their gravy is REAL country gravy with chunks of sausage, and you can't get that at many places anymore. I've never had a bad experience here, and that's why I continue to go back. If you're a breakfast or brunch person, this place is for you.
I just ate a very delicious lunch here at Toni’s. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Five Star Grilled Cheese sandwich that has cheddar, Jack, Swiss, Provolone, and Pepper Jack Cheese! It comes with fries. I also ordered a bowl of Cream of Green Chili soup which I highly recommend. For my drink I had a strawberry Italian soda.
Great great staffs and good breakfast. Must order - pancakes, omelette and sour dough bread. Food was fresh and hosts were attentive. I would love to go again
All around great food and environment. This little gem is perfect for any occasion, first dates, meetings, family outings. The staff and atmosphere are pretty awesome, especially the outdoor patio garden (courtyard). To top it off they have an nice variety of fresh baked, super tasty desserts and breads. Highly recommend
What a nice place! We chose to sit in the outdoor cafe which is very pleasant - and they let me have my dogs there which was very nice. The food was really good. I had the veggie omelet and it was delicious! The waitress was nice and efficient. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Merced!
Food was absolutely fantastic they give you generous portions. The servers are very friendly and on top of everything. Then credit to the cooks fantastic job people. Thank you management for a wonderful and friendly and clean atmosphere to have a good meal and relax. Oh yeah did I forget this desserts all I can say is

Had the specials, chorizo and jalapeno breakfast burrito and banana nut cinnamon bread pancakes and was very happy with our food. Had great flavor, wasn't overly sweet the burrito was just slightly spicy with lots of flavor. Service was pretty quick even when busy and the food came out hot too. The outdoor courtyard is very nice and relaxing, well shaded with fans to circulate the air with a breeze. One of our favorite breakfast & brunch spots in Merced.
