Ordered a pizza to carry out. I arrived on time to pick up my pizza. It was cold, undercooked. And flavorless. Little to no sauce, sausage had no flavor, chopped onions looked like they were put on as an afterthought and were raw. Tasted like a precooked pizza that did not spend enough time cooking in a pizza oven. Only good thing was they didn’t skimp on cheese

We have not been impressed with the food or service the last couple of times we were here. Not only that, but the last time we were there they sat my family at a table way too small for everyone plus 2 toddlers, and my son ended up getting burned by one of the sauces because there was not enough room on the table to keep things away from him. The management did apologize about this, but it did not make up for the lack of thoughtfulness.

My son ordered the broasted chicken, which came with a piece of breast that was still completely pink, cold, and raw in the middle. Fortunately he discovered this by using a fork and knife for his first bite, and did not get it into his mouth. The exterior appearance was well browned and crispy, giving all indication of being well cooked. It was a rather large breast however, and perhaps had not been fully thawed. The server apologized of course, and took it back to the kitchen. She then offered to get him something else, we thought implying there perhaps was a problem with the chicken that prevented a re-order of it. So my son ordered the baked penne that my wife was enjoying. About 10 minutes later we noticed an order of the broasted chicken going to another table. It appeared a bit darker in color than the order we had received. I asked our server why she didn't offer a new order of chicken for my son, and she said she didn't think he would want it after his initial experience, which was an incorrect assumption. So instead he had to wait an additional 15 minutes for something he really did not end up liking. My mother-in-law and I also did not care much for the lasagna, and neither of us finished it. My father-in-law enjoyed his Chicken Picatta, and all of us liked our dinner salads. The table bread was good, but it seemed a bit out of place as a sourdough recipe with Italian cuisine. Two of our party also ordered the chocolate fudge cake for dessert, which was good. After receiving the dessert, the hostess let us know it would be on the house. All in all, if I were to go back again, I would probably order the pizza, as it looked quite good when being served to others. Otherwise, I would not have a desire to return.

Can not say enough about this place ❤️❤️❤️ It felt like home, the people were so friendly, many regulars. The bartender has been working there 40 years (Im sure thats what he said) but anyways a long time and he was fantastic! The garlic bread is so good! The pasta coulda used more flavor but still good. I will be back before I leave !

Pretty good italian american offerings for great prices. We got the 5 men in a boat appetizer (5 meatballs in sauce, they forgot the bread though) then chicken parm & shrimp scampi. They offer a great and friendly curbside service as well. For under $45 we had a complete dinner for two with enough leftovers for both of us to have a 2nd meal today. Will definitely order again as Milwaukee is lacking in italian options at decent prices.

Been coming here for over a decade. It was nice to dine at again. The only reason for the four stars was that the fish fry perch was very dry and tough. I think it was very overcooked.
