My husband and I needed an impromptu place for dinner and dropped in here along our search. We walked in and the hostess asked if we had a reservation. I wasn’t anticipating needing one but she said there was a cancellation and if we could leave in an hour and a half we could get a table. With the prompt impeccable service we were out within an hour and it was absolutely incredible! My husband got the duck special, not only was it a literal entire duck he said it was the best duck he has ever add. I got the fried shrimp which were the size of the palm of my hand and just perfect. From the service, the amazing bread basket, the wine, the food and the cozy booths, this will absolutely become our new place for a nice dinner out.
This is a GREAT old school dining option. Craft cocktails and a good wine selection. The food is always top-rate. Wonderful steaks, great sandwiches and fried chicken. A "must have" are the shredded onion rings. Make a reservation!!!
Loved the atmosphere, and the Friday fish fry was great. Got the perch and my bf got the cod we were both very happy. Only draw back they don't muddle their old Fashions buy they were still good. Would def go back and would recomend !
Our wiatress was unbelievable! She was so accommodating and friendly! Best service around!And lately I feel that's hard to get.

This place is dynomite!! Good cocktails, small, supper club atmosphere. Attentive staff, and fantastic food. I always get the steak. Very historic building.
Dined with friends on April 13, 2022. Good service, delicious haddock. Door County Cherry Pie a great disappointment. Thick, flavorless filling with Door County Cherries in a crust that tasted suspiciously store bought.
Prime Rib is best piece of meat in Mequon. Portuon is huge and plenty for another meal. Check on carrot cake at beginning of meal and reserve as it goes super fast.
