Red Lobster

First time at Red Lobster. My daughter wanted to go. Usually I’m not fond of chain restaurants but this was done very well. Server was attentive, food was excellent. My steak was perfectly cooked. My daughter had the unlimited shrimp and took good advantage of it. The price was very reasonable and those biscuits are out of this world. Also my daughter spilled cocktail sauce on her ring and took it off. We didn’t realize until we got home almost 45 minutes later and called and the lady who answered knew immediately and said yes we have it. I’m sold. Good place and good people. We will be back

We haven't been to this Red Lobster in quite a while. We went for a family occasion, and the server we had was nice and on her job. She made sure everyone order was correct and bought out in a timely manner, and if it wasn't right, she immediately corrected it. The small problems we had were from the kitchen itself not the server

Before tonight I would have given 5 stars across the board, but no matter how good things were prior, tonight cleared the slate. Of all the places to go for our 3rd anniversary, we decided to go here... in Mentor. This is also the first time leaving without a doggy bag. In the 3 years we've been going here, we've never had a meal that caused us to send something back or complain. Today we sent back the shrimp 3 times, the biscuits were over baked and dry, the lobster tail twice, did not receive a side dish, and everything except the pasta was overcooked and over-salted multiple times. Though I didn't expect a free meal, which it wasn't, I also didn't expect to pay over a hundred dollars for one of the worst meals I've had at a restaurant. My wife was much more incensed than I was, even to go so far as to say, she never wanted to go back there again. As hard as staff and the manager tried to accommodate us, a $40 discount just doesn't seem appropriate. The final rub was when I used a reward for a free dessert to take home and they even screwed that up. Not the worst anniversary but they didn't seem to care about anything. Completely oblivious. This was not the Red Lobster we've known and frequented several times a month for 3 years.

Was in there 3/31/23 with a party of 3, was seated quickly, served quickly and well attended by our server considering it was a busy Friday nite. I had the standard fish and chips, liked the fries, wasn't so much impressed with that big hunk of fish, but it was edible. The others loved their meals, and of course the biscuits are always a treat, the drinks were good, and the wine we ordered was excellent. Id go there again to try something else on the menu. So overall not a bad nite out

Cheddar biscuits are absolutely out of this world! Had Walt's Favorite Shrimp & Popcorn Shrimp - excellent. Also loaded-baked potato and crispy brussel sprouts - amazing! Server Jason was terrific!!! Didn't mind paying $35 before tip because I always get 2-3 meals out of one. People waiting to be seated asked how the food was and I told them excellent. Will return as much as possible!
