We got the flame dog, and I will say, not as spicy as we thought it would be. The hot dog though is delicious, and to be honest, it is great on its own without all the extra things, but it's fun to see all different ways they can create a meal out of a hot dog. Also, look at how big that home wrecker dog is! Fills you up! The fries were good, and I was really looking forward to the chili cheese fries, but the chili part did let me down. It was more tomato than anything. The ice cream 👍 I got birthday cake, which is my favorite flavor, and it delivered. SO GOOD! I suggest going on a nice day that you can sit outside. They are tiny inside and not much seating on the inside, but they have a lot of picnic tables all around the building outside to sit. They were SUPER busy even on a Thursday evening during summertime, but they are very quick. I didn't mind standing in the line that went outside. They have menus posted on the wall when you 1st open the door. I suggest taking a picture and deciding while you wait to you know what you want when you get to the register. Pepsi products, so sorry Coke fans. They also have bottled water, bottled iced tea, and I got a bottle diet Dr pepper since I don't like Pepsi. You'll find something to drink. Will I visit again? Absolutely! With all those options, I need to try another. 2 flame dog home wreckers, 1 large chili cheese fry, 2 scoop birthday cake ice came to about $35

The menu has plenty of options aside from hotdogs. The decor is really cool, the inside is tiny so plan to eat outside or get it to-go, as it fills up with those waiting for food. the poutine and onion rings were delicious!

Popular place (line was out the door when I arrived and got even longer as I waited but my order was ready within like, 10mins? Great!). Very small cramped interior with kitschy decor, not a lot of seating (most of it was counter/stools along the wall), some picnic tables outside too. I opted to eat in the car due to the packed no-ventilation interior (I was the only one masked, incl out of staff) and no open picnic tables outside. Extensive menu with lots of unique combinations, and the hotdogs are larger than normal (I wanna say 1/4lb?), but still felt a bit expensive ($18 for 2 hotdogs & fries which was more than enough food for me). However, the ingredients/toppings were all very fresh and flavorful, and you get a crapload of fries (they’re the skinny/oily type). Also about 20 different hot sauces available which was awesome. I’m not from the area so this was a cool little find on my travels and I would definitely return, but only as a “treat myself” due to price.

Wow! Best Dawgs on the East Side of town. The size and value for your money is unmatched. Fries are hand cut hot fresh and crispy. The hot dawgs ain't no joke either! They are some thiqq glizzy glops that drop. Get all the fixings and all the styles of weiner your brain could ever imagine. A must stop! Oh yeah they have all the yummy frozen treats you need as well.

This place is marvelous. They're very organized they're very speedy considering the people that come through their door it's so small and lots of picnic outside, nice days makes that perfect. Their footlongs are not those skinny little cheap things they are really good hot dogs and so are the short ones. There are three sizes of hot dogs short, foot long, and homewrecker. Of course on the other hand they're french fries are ridiculous always get the tiny and you'll still the two people with that we got the small when we dumped them out on the tree they were outrageously large

Scooters- always crowded, always fabulous, worth the wait! Be patient, leave a tip- they're working hard back there! Have tried most of the dawgs, not a bad one in the bunch. LA Street Dawg is fav standby when I can't decide. Fries are awesome, beware of size- Jr is almost too much for two of us!

First time visiting the area and my aunt said we had to stop here! I ordered a Grilled Chicken Wrap and a Junior size Taco fry! The wrap was really good! The Fries serving sizes are massive. They aren't anything special in terms of taste. That being said they have so many different flavor combos for their hotdogs and wraps, as well as their fries. They were crazy busy so wait times were very long. Prices were a bit high too, but portion size is crazy especially for the fries! Overall it was a good experience and if you want some good old fashioned greasy food while visiting the beach, check them out!

I have always loved scooters since I was a kid. Growing up around the corner my sister and cousins first job was scooters. Always great food and good atmosphere. Ever since the new ownership however there are flaws. I appreciate them keeping the legacy going and the menu hasn’t changed drastically. The food is still yummy. It’s just a LARGE bummer that the hours are so limited (for the average working person). I’d think dinner hours would be more available than lunch hours. This has prohibited me and I know a few of my friends, from eating here this season. 8pm is very early to close a summer establishment in my opinion. I know no business is perfect and it’s not simple. But just my opinion on what made scooters, THE summer hangout. The late night bites and ice cream.

Stopped around 12:30. Place was packed. Staff was very friendly. Service was quick and efficient. Pickles were ice cold and crisp. Food was delicious and there were more fries than a person my size could eat in two meals. Love the mural! Happy customer will return.
