Dive bar at its best: cash only, friendly patrons, history covers the walls. And you can get a fancy glass of champagne, a nice glass of wine, or a beer and a shot. Loved Dick’s. Never change!

Spending an evening in a bar on a romantic weekend getaway was not on our agenda, but one of the highlights of our trip was stopping in for a quick beer to catch a little football. Ending up spending 4 hours here. The bartenders were friendly and made us some top shelf drinks. Talked football with some locals and my wife loved that it was dog friendly as she was missing our boys. Thanks for a great memory.

The bar-ambiance is on-point! I love all of the stickers and random decor. There are two dioramas of the bar inside the bar. They have darts and pinball in the back. The jukebox is up-to-date with a credit card reader and full digital selections. There's a back patio, but it's much more scenic out front if you're a smoker.

This bar is one of the reasons why we want to come back to Mendocino. We go there every night we stay in Mendocino. The bartenders are friendly and customers here are super chill. + This place is dog friendly and my dog loves being here.
