Rock Inn Cafe

The food was excellent but the waitress was pushy. I ordered a mango drink and saw on the menu that you could buy a specialty glass. I asked the waitress the price and she pointed to the price of the menu. Then I told her cute glass but no thank you. She brought my drink in the specialty glass anyway. I told her I was not purchasing one and she just smiled. Then when she brought the ticket she charges me for the glass. After I told her I wasn't paying for it she got an attitude and took it off the bill. I still left her a tip because she did do her job well and I respect her hard work. I don't respect her trying to charge me for a glass I did not want. The restaurant was clean and the environment was amazing. I do recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Memphis but watch your bill.

I have been to many Hard Rock Cafes on 3 continents and Hawaii. Memphis has a very nice one here, that is low key, and fits in with the "Home of the Blues". Mainly a large open room here with a balcony for extra diners. Staff was friendly and helpful, and drinks are always very good. My son, Ben, enjoyed the themed collection of rock/ blues displays around the walls, especially the guitars, as we both play bass guitar. Restaurant is located on corner of Beale Street with easy access to BB King Club, and other blues bars. All in all, a fun place to visit once you find a place to park.

We arrived at 2:30. There was only 3 groups in the dining area for a total of 6 people. My soda glass would be empty and it would take Latasha over 10 minutes to get me a refill. This happened 3 times. It took almost 1 hour to receive our food. I don't see how it would take that long to receive our food as slow as it was.
