I waited 10 hours to eat just so that I could make sure that I had room for the food that I wanted to eat from here �. I had a grilled chicken salad and a 10 piece seasoned wing(flats�). YALL when I tell y’all I pick over chicken, but this chicken I damn near ate the bone! In fact my daughter did eat the bone FML �.Its like the chicken had been seasoned by season Gods!! It was so fresh....like I burnt my tongue because I couldn’t wait to eat it �. Now let’s get to my salad.... LAAAAAWWWDDD, it was so good. My husband sat in my face as I ate it, but I told homeboy I wasn’t sharing ��. Y’all have to try this place! ��
The food was delicious and hot. It was well worth the 46 minute drive two days in a row. I highly recommended you stop by and give them a try.
The food was good the ppl were nice. $16 for 8 wings made me mad. BTW those wings were delicious!!!!!! I used the roll to wipe up the seasoning in the box. Good ppl!!!
I ordered a party tray of 75 wings, three different flavors for a work party. They were very good, I placed the order the day before, and they were ready for me at the agreed upon pick up time. They were loved by all, I will definitely be back.
Call ahead and order to avoid the wait. Food is cooked to order, so takes a little while but is worth it. I tried the sampler plate and got a fantabulous buddy burger, crispily delightful catfish, and 5-star wings. Absolutely going back.
10 stars!! Mannn, let me tell you, this is my 2nd Lamb Chop plate with broccoli and cheese. Yea it's $30 but it's well worth it! From the seasoning, the meat, the tenderness, the readiness, the SAUCE, I mean the sauce got me licking the foil 🤣, can't waste one drop. Not to mention it's a black owned business. Love the atmosphere, welcoming, seasoned professionalism, always greeted with a smile. Will always support when I come to Memphis!
Burger was great! Fries could have used more seasoning but they were good enough to eat without ketchup. Wings had a nice flavor. They need a new location with a dining area big enough to eat in. That was my only complaint. The actual dining area was very small and cold since it was right by the door. But i will be back... Just will get my food to go..
The Kitchen on Jackson Ave has deliciously prepared dishes: burgers, salads, catfish dinners, etc. Oh my goodness, it's so good. The catfish salad was loaded with mushrooms, olives, eggs, lettuce, red peppers, banana peppers, pickles...I didn't need to add dressing!!! My 4y/o grandson said "This is the best burger I ever had!" Try them; you'll go back again! #BlackOwned
I had a taste for fried fish yesterday and started researching restaurants. My kids and I chose to try The Kitchen for the first time. I ordered 2 samplers(1not pictured), a philly cheese w fries, and a 10pc wings w fries. We were told over the phone that fries does not come with our sampler. However, the menu clearly states, "all samplers come with fries". It did not say with an exception of what sampler is chosen. Then, to top it off our side fries cost $2.50 for like a hand full of fries. There were way more fries given with the actual combos. The last pic reflects the $2.50 fries in one sampler after moving the piece of fish.
Loved it...great soul food. Down home southern cooking and the best kool-aid around. Great staff and owner was amazing. Very friendly.
Excellent!! Customer service A1... The food terrific!!! I got a sampler because I wanted see what would be a fave. I think I'm going to enjoy the entire menu!! The kool-aid was delish! I'll definitely be back.
