Caribbean Flayvahz

Today was my first time trying this establishment an it was great I had the large Steam Fish with rice an peas an plantains, cabbage it was seasoned to perfection an the servings was so large I have a half of plate left and I am stuffed the customer service was fantastic an the building is large an very very clean I will be back again!! Prices are extremely reasonable!

First time here. As a person from the Caribbean living in the south Im always looking for restaurants like this. I got a curry chicken pattie and the jerk lunch special with rice and peas, plantain and cabbage. The jerk was nice n spicy, the plantain was sweet and the rice and peas was good. For $5 the lunch special was a perfect portion. The pattie was delicious! Definitely recommend this place to any person looking for authentic Caribbean food.

Soooo... Caribbean food is my fav. To now have a spot that can give me that right amount of spice and flavor is rare. The fish is very fresh! The jerk chicken is my go to! The curry chicken patty allows you to taste every aspect of it from the crust to the seasoning. Oh, and the sides... Cabbage is fresh. I’m a Mac n Cheese head so you know I couldn’t get enough of it! The plantains could be a little more brown And crispy( how I’m use to eating them) but are overall still tender and juicy. You now have a regular! Thanksssss

The food was fresh and delicious. My husband has been in search of good oxtails. Finally found some. I enjoyed the fresh fish and baked mac'n cheese. The coco bread is to amazingly wonderful. Glad to add this as an eating option. Tip: Calling your order in may be best if you don't have time to wait. However, the interior is spacious and clean with an excellent Carribean vibe.

When you walk through the door you feel as if you’re on a Caribbean island. The music is high tempo and you almost want to dance! Chef Carla stands behind the counter wearing a smile and the aroma in the air makes you want to order a little of everything. The guy in the kitchen peeps his head up to acknowledge your presences and speaks( talking about feeling welcomed)! I am so new to Caribbean food however; shrimps are the desire of my heart. I placed an order for the medium shrimp with double cabbage and 1 stuffed pouch( that’s not the name of it but that’s how I am describing it) and an island mango juice. The food was hot and fresh as expected but the taste was AMAZING; the spicies aren’t too spicy but gives you that kick of heat that you desire, the shrimp are huge, the cabbage is perfectly steamed and that pouch is to live forever for!
