Grabbed dinner here the other night after a power outage. We love coming to Top’s because it’s great chopped barbecue and the sides and fresh and killer good. I had the jumbo pork plate with beans and slaw and everything was great. One of the best parts of the experience is the tangy, bbq sauce. I could STICK MY FACE IN THIS STUFF!! Friendly service is standard for all of these places here which I sincerely appreciate. Great food, great value, and great service.

Love Tops BBQ 😋! Lived in Memphis in the 70's when introduced to Tops. Now everything I'm back in town I have to load up on Tops Chopped Pork Sandwiches with Hot BBQ Sauce and Slaw! Don't forget the Fries and BBQ Smoked Beans! Excellent!

By far the best brisket and pork shoulder I’ve ever had. The coleslaw, the beans, and apple turnover were just a plus to the delicious meat. Highly recommend. Wish we had some in my home state Wisconsin.

Upon entry, I was great with a golden smile by D’Angelo!!! There was no one up front, so he came from the back to take my order. He upsold fries and a drink. He was knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant! The restaurant was so clean and the guest and staff were so welcoming and friendly. My aunt really enjoyed her meal and I know it was because it was made with love!! Give that man a raise!!!! He deserves it!!!

This is my go-to place when I'm looking for a quick lunch and I'm in the mood for barbecue. It's what I think of as Memphis BBQ. I've only had one bad experience when they forgot my order, but every other time it's been quick polite service.

I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised with Tops Barbecue every time I looked at it it looked as if it's a place not to go to just from the exterior looks it has this very run down image but then a friend of mine told me it's actually really good and I visited this establishment and I have to say it was pretty damn good I asked them to recommend what I should have and I got exactly that a double bacon cheeseburger it was delicious but it felt as if it was a little bit of a copy from Five Guys or maybe Five Guys copied them I don't know

My go-to when in town. Sure there's better BBQ but the speed and value are great here at the poplar location. Recently got the 12 pack and more than enough food for 12.

Hands down the best Tops in the city. Burgers are always juicy, unlike some other locations. The manager is badass. She's always friendly and makes sure the orders are all correct before being handed off or delivered. She is always praising her employees, and to me that's how a leader should be. She goes above and beyond to make sure her employees are getting positive reinforcement and that the customers are happy. Orders are out quick. I believe that's the case due to get leadership style. The restaurant is always clean and stocked. Unlike other locations I feel welcomed when I walk in. Some of the other stores I sometimes feel like I'm bothering the employees due to the attitudes of the employees. But not at this location. I always leave with a smile on my face, a nice juicy burger and fries that's are cooked perfectly. If there was an option to give 10 out of 10 stars I'd rate this location 10 out of 10.

Today I was able to experience true splendor of Tops Bar-B-Que. I made this purchase at the store on Poplar Ave near White Station. I enjoyed a delicious pulled pork sandwich which was very meaty with fries,mac and cheese and sweet tea. Everything over all was well worth the money I spent. Thank you, Tops
