The fish was good. I ordered catfish and it tasted amazing.

The only complaint I have is they do not give you enough fish. Where I come from a 2 piece fish fillet; means two whole fillets not one fillet cut in half. It's like getting chicken tenders instead of the whole chicken fillet. Other than that it was very delicious and seasoned just right.

Catfish was served hot, cooked just right, with fries and cole slaw. To top it all off, the German Chocolate Cake was absolutely heavenly. Moist, rich and buttery. I had to stop and take the other half home.

This was my first time eating here. The food was delicious. The staff was very attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. I will be back and bring friends.

I travel a bit and I call D&L Catfish before I get my luggage. It is my welcome back to Memphis treat! I have never been disappointed with the catfish and the service. Usually a wait which could be easily fixed with a to go section and a placing order section. Regardless, I will continue to support the business. Customer service is always with a smile!

The food is awesome. The customer service is outstanding. Tried the new batter chicken wings and now I am hooked on the wings. D&L Catfish shack has been my go to for fish for a few years and now they will serve as my go to for chicken wings. Amazing!!!

Every time I come to Memphis the Catfish Shack is a must!!! The flavor on that fish is outstanding!!!! It is pricey though!!! The hush puppies are to die for!!! The fries are what fries should be!!!Everything comes out hot , fresh, and ready to go!!!! Now the downside is the coleslaw. Ewww! It has zero flavor. It needs work. They shouldn’t advertise shrimp. The shrimp are no more than some boxed Sea-Pak shrimp that they fried. They are not freshly battered and fried shrimp. The price for the 10 shrimp and fries is robbery!!! For that reason alone, I could not give 5 stars! But, I will continue to get fish here when I’m in town for sure!!! But please Catfish shack, get real shrimp, batter em up and fry!!!!

One of the best hidden gems in the city! Fair prices, made fresh to order, the portions are amazing!! Well worth the few minutes it takes to hand batter and cook your food to your specifications. Delicious!!

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Friends who come here often introduced me to the place, the catfish is incredible! Also the fries are spiced very well, and are some of the best tasting fries (maybe THE best fries) I've ever had. The hush puppies are great, the cole slaw was excellent. I'll be back!

Very good fish house. Made to order fresh. I had fish, fries, okra and they use corn nuggets as hush puppies which I liked. I deliver their products for a supply chain and I know they use quality fish from "pride of the pond", not that swai garbage
