This place was amazing! First time visiting while here in Memphis when I pulled up there was a a lot of people and I ask someone leaving was it packed he saodn yes people are standing out the building.. I started to leave, but I'm like it's just me so shouldn't be to long and it wasn't maybe 5 min. When I say the food was delicious may be an understatement my food was nice and hot didn't have to send anything back!!! I can't wait to go back before I return home with my husband I know he'll love it. I met 2 wonderful ladies Debra & Valarie and they told me a few other spots to visit very nice experience! The twin bartenders were great didn't catch their name tho but whole experience was a vibe 10/10.

Establishment was clean and inviting. Greeter was warm at the door. Arrived around 7pm and was seated immediately. Asked to be seated near bar at a high top table. Private party room next to the area. Over flow of guest kept coming out the very well noise reduction room standing near us and the conversations was extremely loud festive and animated. I had an AWESOME Sunday dinner and experience from the time I walked in. The host at the door quickly got us seated. She went over and beyond and asked two gentlemen to move down a seat at the bar for me and my friend to sit down. My waitress was (Dani or Danielle) she was so sweet and professional. She was fast and efficient. She made the best Mimosa, I had 5 of them! My food came out fast, it was sooooo good. Kudos to the cooks, the presentation was EVERYTHING! I can't wait til next Sunday to go back and enjoy the great spiritual Sunday atmosphere 🙌🏾

As a soul food eatery it is good. Is not the best I've had but it's good. It has a great variety of traditional soul foods. Option sizes are good. You will get full. The location is conveniently located on a corner in the parking lot of a shopping mall. It had a bar side with a private room. The seating was a little tattered but not ragged. The staff was super nice even though they were really busy. I would go back and recommend it to others.

Man. Ok. First of all, I’m not a Memphis native. I was last week visiting from Chicago and remembered Yo Gotti opened a restaurant in Memphis for his mom. That’s the dopest sentiment alone so I'm like let’s try it out. My best friend and I decided to pull up on a Saturday night around 6pm, and it was already crowded. To our surprise, the wait was only 30 minutes. Y’all. Everyone is friendly. The security, the hostess, the waitstaff, the bell staff. I can’t speak for the bar but from a distance, they seemed cool too. Our food was delicious. I ordered blackened tilapia, and an appetizer of southwest rolls and shrimp skewers. Flavorful and just on point. While enjoying my meal, I saw Yo Gotti’s mom walking around ensuring people were ok and things were running well..Itopped her and asked is she was Ms Mims, she said yes and we struck up a small conversation. She’s so incredibly kind and genuine. We told her we were visiting and she asked us back for soul food Sunday the following day. Now y’all. I have had good soul food but I’d be untruthful if I told you I ever tasted turkey and dressing this good. It was amazing. The sides are delicious. My best friend ordered the catfish. Amazing okkkk! Erica was our waitress on Sunday and Jasmine took care of us on Saturday night. Both super nice and attentive despite how busy things get. I loved it here. The vibe, the hospitality and the food. Oh I forgot to mention, there’s a live DJ on Saturday so it’s a hip hop vibe. It’s fun, but just know. On Sunday, you gonna hear some Donnie, Kirk, Marvin, Smokey and Fred. You gonna feel the presence… okkkkk! Top notch experience, for sure. Thank you Mama Mimms and team. We will be back when we’re in Memphis.

I love this restaurant. The hostess Raigin is phenomenal. Always greeted with a smile. At the bar the twins are amazing and the drinks are always just right. The food is Exquisitely delicious. I love soul food. It taste homemade, it’s definitely the FLAVOR and tenderness that keeps me coming. 5 stars all across the board!! ~Destiny Williams

The food is AMAZING!! I have never had soul food so DELICIOUS!! It tasted better than my Grandma’s. The turkey fell off the bone, the flavor will drive you insane. It’s so delicious. Everything on the plate was A1!! Can you say DELICIOUS!! The twins at the bar are nice. The director is nice. Great service!! I’m going every Sunday!!
