Great food & great service. Group of 4 ate at Bluefin on a Friday night before Lion King at the Orpheum. Our service was great, we got our order quickly & the food was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Good food, but don't go if your on a schedule. I generally like Bluefin. Usually when I go, I'm not trying to make it somewhere immediately after, so waiting a bit isn't that big of a deal. Tonight, I was heading to a show at the Orpheum, so I was trying to have an expedited good meal pre-show. I made reservations for 6:15, we showed up a bit early and were seated right away. Show started at 7:30 so I thought we were golden (only 2 of us). Drinks took a little longer than usual, but no indication of stressful eating. Apps came out relatively quickly for how slammed they were. And then...nothing.... We sat with empty glasses and plates for probably a good 30 minutes with no one coming by at all. When our waitress finally came by to refill our empty water glasses, she muttered that our sushi would be out soon and I immediately asked for the check because by now, it was 7 and I was getting stressed about making the show. All in all, we made it to our seats with about 4 minutes to spare, had to speed eat our sushi, and extra time was lost because they had overcharged us by like $15 and we had to correct that. It's good but food (the citrus blue crab roll was amazing) but make sure you have plenty of time if you want to eat here. We will not be going pre-show again.
I Will Be Returning. I went to this place for the first time on my birthday. On the outside, it doesn't look like much but once you walk in, you'd be surprised at how nice it is inside. It's very clean and spacious and it has a very cozy and home like atmosphere. I had the seaweed salad and seafood ceviche and it was really nice. The waiter was very attentive. He came to our table multiple times to check on us. I can't wait to go back to try other foods here. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great Steak!. We went to Bluefin on the recommendation of a co-worker. Our server was articulate, professional and helpful. What a breath of fresh air! We had the steak (cuts with a fork like butter) and sushi along with a couple of appetizers. I would go again and recommend it to others.
POSH. 1 of the swankiest restaurants I've been to. The decor is ultra modern. The 2 times we've been, we had reservations for a large party so they sit us at this area with couches for chairs. It's really cute! To me, the menu is a little limited, especially since I'm not a sushi eater, but the chicken flatbread is good.
Awesome food, very snooty hostess. About three weeks ago, I went to eat at Bluefin with a good friend for an early dinner. We approached the area where the hostess was, and she was casually talking to another employee. It took approximately five minutes before she would even speak to us. All she said was, "Just two, come on." The restaurant had very few customers, maybe ten at the time and we asked if we could sit in a booth. Her reply was, "Um nope, there are none right now." She looked like she did not want to be there at all and was not pleasant in the least bit.
Our waiter was so incredibly nice and attentive. Aside from that, the sushi is great. The Redbirds roll is my favorite.

I really like it. I go about once a month and try to try something new each time. Im a huge sushi fan so it's a great place. I would like to get to know the sushi chefs.
Food and fun go hand in hand here. The bar staff was super enthusiastic and attentive, and the food/drinks were just has appealing. regardless of how busy the bar was, we were sat immediately and served equally as quickly. i love love love the calamari here and the sparkling sake. i have also had sushi here in the past and been happy then too. so whatever your tastes may be, they have something for everyone.
Prime location, outdoor seating is ideal for people watching on this main street. The service was quick. Nothing really stood out about this place. I ordered a sushi roll but never received it, my server hadn't put it in, he recalled as he was presenting the check, offered it to go..but I wasn't interested in room temperature sushi.
Poke bowl was good I never had one. Fresh fish is good, not great, not excellent, but good. Service was very quick of course I was probably the only one here when I sat down, lol.
Very nice atmosphere, surprisingly slow (not busy) for how tasty it is, but it's next to some other REALLY GOOD restaurants. The service was friendly, and the good was good!
My children and I came here to celebrate my son's 16th birthday. The food was amazing; especially the sushi rolls. It's been several years since the last time we came to this restaurant. Though it appears to have new owners, they didn't miss a beat. We had the top floor to ourselves, and it was nice. We will be returning. You have to try the sushi rolls. They are AMAZING! 😊
Bluefin was an awesome experience we had a great bartender and the sushi was incredible. The restaurant is directly off the main street trolley line runs right infront of the building. The atmosphere was cozy at the bar and the staff where very friendly.

Everyone is always super nice even if you drop in late. The food is delicious. I had the sashimi and it honestly was the freshest I've had anywhere in a long time. We weren't big fans of any Ginjo sake but the Nigori was good.
Had s nice large bowl of seafood Ramon with plenty tasty bites of shrimp, calamari, clams & veggiesbwith just right amount of spice.
I love this restaurant! The people are friendly it’s a nice scenery and the food was great I recommend this spot for everyone!
I just tried this place for the 1st time & I loved it. We were seated immediately & the older guy that waited our table was the sweetest. My food was good & it came out fast. If you are downtown & looking for a restaurant to try, this would be a good place to go!
