I came in for the lunch special and it was a good value for good food. For a sushi place in Memphis, I was pleasantly surprised how good it was--and I've had sushi/sashimi in Japan several times. Service was fast and friendly
Wow. Words cannot describe how absolutely delicious. The food I ate was. Not only was the atmosphere comfortable and the service excellent, that was the best tonkatsu I have had in all of America. And I've eaten at many places as a flight attendant. My many compliments to the chef and the wonderful server who aided me today, I will never forget what a wonderful meal I had here. Not a single thing was bad, all of the food was by far the best I've had in a long long time. Thank you guys so so much. When I'm in Tennessee again I will absolutely be coming by.
The sushi here was pretty good! The sushi was really tasty and portions were big! So many sushi options to choose from. I ended up getting the Buccaneers roll and the High Roller roll—both had fresh ingredients! Definitely a must try if you’re craving good sushi! The place was pretty packed even with lots of seating—we had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated, WORTH IT THOUGH!
Tonight was my first time trying Japanese cuisine. I must say that the food was lovely to the eye and different yet delicious favors. My favorite was the veggie spring rolls with a dipping sauce. The customer service was excellent, and our waiter took time to help me understand what I was ordering.
I was actually across the street in Best Buy and the smell from this restaurant pulled me in lol. It was a spare of the moment decision but glad I gave this place a try. The service was great, price/portion of food was reasonable. Will definitely go back here whenever I'm in the mood for sushi. I did try their hibachi but my son did and he liked it.
First time going and absolutely loved trying a new sushi place with so many different options of rolls.
What's the best part about this place? They consistently provide great customer service, delicious sushi, and it doesn't take long to seat us. If we've ever had to wait, we just walk around best buy next door for 30 minutes. Red koi has been our new go to for sushi these past 2 years.
I would recommend the Tennessee roll, Tornado roll & Blue ocean roll at the moment.
Great food, great service. Lunch times can be busy, so allow for some waiting time. Food was extremely fresh, well presented, with a great taste. Staff were cheerful and pleasant
EXCELLENT service! We visited from out of state and weren’t sure what to expect. The resturaunt was full so we expected a little wait on food but oh we’re we wrong!! Dishes came out literally minutes after ordered and our server (wish I’d got her name) was amazing! The food was delicious! I will most certainly return the next time we are in town.
Today was my first time at this restaurant. I'm vegan and enjoyed everything about it. I think they put a spell on me. 😅 I loved the customer service, food, and the atmosphere. I felt euphoric during my visit.
