Melvindale Grill

I dined in for lunch, it took a while to get my food. When it arrived I have to tell you the portion was enough and more importantly the food was good. It had good presentation and I could tell that the cook cared about the food he was putting out. To top it off the meal was delicious. The reason for the rating was that the restaurant was lacking in cleanliness. The fingerprints that were on everything was from days of not being cleans , not one day. The rugs by the door were on top of the trash can no on the floor. For me that’s important and it was bad. Great food though.

I ordered the chicken Sharma and a fattoush salad with feta. The chicken was very tender to the point where when I took a bite, the chicken fell apart. I really enjoyed it but I wish there was more garlic with it. The salad was also really good. The regular sized fattoush was huge! I ended up taking it home. Both were well worth the price. I would recommend stopping by this joint if you are in the mood for good Mediterranean!

Don't believe some of the uptight reviews on here, this place is great. They are a new establishment who are still figuring things out, so you may wait a couple minutes for your lunch special. Staff is really nice and helpful, the place always looks spotless, and the food is excellent. The fries are delicious and crispy, while the meats are well seasoned.

My first visit. Prices seem perfect for the portions and quality. Restaurant was clean and staff polite. I ordered 5 mixed shwarmas. Only concern: Both chicken and lamb seemed dry. Either they are being cooked too fast, at high temps, too long, or cooked, refrigerated, then microwaved. I recommend slow cooking a predicted supply needed at low temperature no more than 3 hours in advance of your lunch and dinner rushes. Yummy. Will return.
