Best darned lamb kebabs I’ve ever eaten. I want to know how they make the wonderful sauce they put on the rice!
It is a bit cramped in the dining room but if you don’t like it, their takeout is just as yummy.
Every time i eat here the food is great but i feel like i've been seated a the childrens table. 2 full sized adults (not 2 petite sized adults) cannot comfortably sit at one of their tables for 2. There is never enough room for the food on the table and we are always afraid to move around too much w/o bumping into someone. They need new better sized furniture, better layout or something.
This is a small Mediterranean Cafe in Melbourne. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is well executed. If you are looking for a casual dining experience for lunch or dinner Cedar's will not disappoint.
All I have to say is WOW! Amazing food! My first experience with Lebanese food was while I lived in New Jersey and I was disappointed when I moved thinking there wasn't anything in Melbourne remotely close to it. I was blown away by Cedar's Cafe and definitely look forward to dining here more often!
Authentic food, great service, glad this little gem is so close to home. Just wish they were open Sunday or Monday as I always seem to stop by on those days.
Amazing variety of flavors/taste sensations. We have the "Hodge-Podge" ( a tasting of a variety of small dishes-chef's choice-with your input). It is always delicious and fresh. We've chosen from a straight vegetarian menu to one with lamb or beef. Each one is better than the last.
Make reservations for the evening, it is a very small restaurant, but five star quality.
Excellent Food. My husband and I love this restaurant. Our favorite dish is the chicken shawarma. We never leave without a couple of baklava for dessert. This place is super affordable because the portions are quite large. If we don't end up sharing a plate, we always have plenty of leftovers for the next day.
Eat here tomorrow!. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent waitstaff, OUTSTANDING cuisine. Can't believe it took me this long to get there but cannot Wait to go back!
Such a treat. While Cedar's was unassuming from the outside, our dinner was absolutely incredible. Fantastic wine list, great service, and the food was to die for. Best Greek salad I've ever had, and my husband still raves about the fatoush a week later. He had the chicken shawarma, and I had chicken skewers. Both were perfection. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Highly recommended!
This place is a must if you are a true foodie and you are looking for great quality cuisine. The food was amazing plus we got the added bonus of speaking with the chef. The menu does change and the chef has must try items on the menu that are seasonal. We highly recommend calling ahead of time or make a reservation because there is limited seating. Our orders were the cheese roll ($3.50 each) and the Fungi Jon Mushroom Hummus ($15) to start. The Fungi Jon Mushroom Hummus was phenomenal and a seasonal item. I would order that over and over again. My wife got the Shish Taouk with seasonal veggies ($25) and I ordered the small Pam Salad with chicken ($15). Both dishes were fresh, great portions, and so flavorful. The chef really puts her heart in soul in everything here. We will definitely be back for their tasting menu rolling out soon this month. We want to try it all!
Had a wonderful lunch here today from their new spring menu. This restaurant has always been my favorite but the new items on the "Choose 3" are amazing.
A great place for a wonderful meal
This restaurant is located in the shopping center on the northwest side of the Wickham and post road intersection. It is at the far north end of the center next to the Panera. There is plenty of parking. There is seating inside and out. The inside is very pretty and done in dark wood flooring with very comfortable chairs and glass tables covering tablecloths. We were greeted and led to an inside table within a minute of entering. The waitress took our drink order and offered us menus. It is a one-page menu that advertises the modern Mediterranean and Lebanese food. They brought us a basket of cut-up pita-type bread while we were deciding on our meal. They have everything from Foole to falafel for appetizers and shish Taouk to Falafel for entrees. I tried the Chicken Shawarma. It was done and delivered within about 20 minutes of when we ordered and it took me 10 minutes to eat the salad that was part of the meal. It was a very large portion and was absolutely delicious. You could tell that there was one person that was taking care of all the tables but she was amazing. I got the check as soon as I asked for it. The price was a little high ($23 for the dish) but well worth it from my point of view for the amount, taste, and service. I would highly recommend this place to my fellow travelers and would recommend the Chicken Shawarma to eat.
Love sumac? Love lamb? Love authentic flavors? Lots of options here, so good I had to order take out for later.
Thanks to Chef Toni Elkhouri for a wonderful dining experience at Cedars. Five of us had dinner and it was a first for all but one of us. Everything was beautifully presented and prepared. The pistachio baklava was superb, rich and very buttery. We'll definitely be back! Between the five of us we had a falafal platter, lamb skewer, fatoush salad, chicken shawrama, kibbeh, stuffed grape leaves and tabouli.
Cedars Cafe has the best Lebanese food in Central Florida. They have so many vegetarian options and everything is delicious! They recently updated their menu and the new menu clearly shows which options are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Most of the dishes are more than $10, but they are definitely worth it. I got the “Classic Pick 3” with falafel, fatoush salad and lentils and rice (pictured below) for $11, but based on the amount and quality of the food it was definitely a fair price.
Amazing twist on Lebanese flavors. All the basics plus more, and specials every couple weeks. They make most dishes vegan or vegetarian. Will come back for sure!

Went for fall special. Love the fig, goat cheese Flatbread and Apple salad.
This was my first time there and my only regret is not knowing about this place sooner! Fantastic food and excellent service! Every single morsel was amazing! Thank you Cedars Cafe for providing such fresh, delicious, and high quality Lebanese fare. May your business always thrive.♥️🙏
