Buddyz Pizzeria

For starters we got the fried calamari and Italian stallions. The dips included were so good. We really liked the calamari. The Italian stallions were delicious! You should give it a try. The onion rings were good too, not oily. My mom liked their latte. We ordered the Sears Tower hand tossed pizza and we all liked it. A lot of toppings! For dessert we ordered Oreo Cheesecake and Lava cake with ice cream on top! They were so good!!!!! Our server also was very nice and friendly , I just forgot here name but it’s ok because we will definitely come back and next time I will try to remember her name. :-)

My early birthday dinner at Buddyz in McHenry, Illinois. First visit. Deep Dish, butter crust, half cheese half pepperoni and sausage for me. Set a high bar for Illinois right out of the gate!! Amazing pizza. Sauce is just like crushed tomatoes (San Marzano I believe) and just the right amount of toppings and herbs. Killer cheese pull! They also have 3 and 4 pizza flights!! The owner came by and talked to us. He was very happy that we were enjoying ourselves. Will be back!!

Visited today for the first time. Came for breakfast. While I appreciated the quick service, the rest of our experience was mixed. #1 don't advertise breakfast pizza unless it's actually on the menu for people to order. That was the whole reason we chose you over other places today, major disappointment that it was not on the menu! The omelet we ended up with instead was good, but the hashbrowns we ordered extra crisp were basically albino. And what's up with the no toast or pancakes with the omelet? I appreciate the fresh fruit & actual maple syrup for the pancakes, but the pancakes themselves had NO flavor. Vanilla extract & a little butter would go along way! Over all our experience was just meh. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back with places like Brunch Cafe or Kim & Patty's in the area. Ya'll still have some work to do.

Gone twice for breakfast. First by boat (about 5 public slips right in front of restaurants outside seating) and then this week drove because it was rainy. Wow, waffle last week was out if this world. This week, French toast equally as good. I brought a food critic with me this time and they too were impressed.

So yummy !!! We always order from same two pizza places. Tonight we decided we wanted to try something new. So glad we did !! This is delicious pizza !!! We just got a regular thin crust cheese and sausage. Cannot wait to try more from this restaurant!😃 I would add a photo but this pie was demolished in 15 mins 😂
