We went here on a Friday night in December, basically no one in there so no wait. Great food, I recommend the Hillbilly Punch and The Fire on the Mountain Pizza. A very hipster atmosphere, lots of beer/cocktail selections. Super fair prices as well. Robert, our waiter was super sweet, we forgot our growler and he walked outside as we were driving away to catch us before we left, haha. Definitely a great place to go after a day of skiing!!

Mt State Brewing is one of our favorite places to eat at Deep Creek. Our absolute favorite is Fire on the Mountain flatbread (pizza). Get a large - leftovers are just as good the next day. Our adult children like the beer selection, but I cannot speak to that. Go at sunset and you will be treated to a wonderful sunset. Be warned - this place gets busy, and waits may be long.

We came into town for a wedding and saw this on the map. Great atmosphere. The beer is really good, the one I got had edible glitter in it. Pizza was phenomenal. We got their most popular, fire on the mountain and was worried it was going to be too spicy, as I can't handle a ton of spice, but it was just right. Sweet, spicy and so good. Definitely recommend checking them out.

A little lunchtime excitement when we visited on 7/29/23. The dining room had a burning odor when we arrived for lunch, the employees came out with ladders and thought it was light fixtures, then puffs of smoke that appeared to be coming from the HVAC vents. The staff moved everyone to the terrace area outdoors to be seated, then moved us the the parking lot once Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Company arrived on a box response along with mutual aid from Accident and Oakland VFD. Hopefully everything is okay, and a huge thanks to Mountain State Brewery for comping everyone’s tab. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll be back. Hey Mountain State, what was the cause? I'm guessing a belt on a HVAC air handler blower motor? The fireman in me is dying to know..

The drinks are strong but delicious. Beer selection has something for everyone. The pizzas were great, even the gluten free cauliflower crust. The nachos were delicious with a unique flavor. Everyone enjoyed the sandwiches too. We recommend asking for extra sauce on the sandwiches, the default is a little light. They accommodated our large group with lots of kids amazingly well.
