Chicken wings is no bones, so don’t be surprised when it comes. It’s a small portion for the price but tastes really good. For entree I had crabby chicken with a side of baked potato, it was delicious, chicken breast done perfectly, juicy and crab on top was just delicious. My husband had cowboy stake with a side of loaded mashed potatoes, he was very happy, he asked medium and he said it was very good. He finished 16oz meat, I was impressed lol. It’s a cozy environment. The decor was good, fireplace going with some Christmas decors. I liked it. Our server was very nice and efficient also. All in all very much recommend for a date night or a cozy dinner when you are here for a vacation.

We ate lunch here today by referral from the cabin property we are staying at and it was surprisingly good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we ate everything from the crab cake sandwich, to salmon, crab soup, prime rib sandwich and flatbread pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our daughters were trying to eat off of everyone's plate once they finished. That's a good sign! Service was great. It's the off season so it was quiet. We ate downstairs where it was accessible for my mother in law who struggles to walk with her walker. Appreciate she was able to walk into a level floor and sit near the entrance. Great job there.

We love the Pine Lodge! It's always on the list of restaurants to go to when we're in Deep Creek. The interior of the restaurant provides such a lovely atmosphere. I love the fire in the fireplace. The food was outstanding. Excellent experience as always!

Excellent meal. Fantastic and charismatic service. The ambiance, with the warm fireplace amd the cozy log walls were PERFECT on a cold and rainy day. Try the scallops with bacon JAM. Holy cow they were tasty! Also, our waitress, Sierra, was wonderful! Kudos to her!

Fantastic service and food! We were a large group and shared all the appetizers. All were delicious! in addition, everyone commented on how good their entrees were. And… don’t forget the cocktails. We tried several and loved them all. I don’t always find my wine but they had it!
As far as ambience, I loved it. It reminded me of the Wyoming lodges I’ve frequented. They accommodated us with a private room, which made our evening nice. The kids could play freely and the adults easily roamed around.
Relative to cost… I’ve traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally, and their prices were in line with what I have experienced.
So, look at the menu before going and if you can accept the prices, relax and enjoy this gem.

This place is the bee’s knees!! If you’re in the McHenry area come to the Pine Lodge for dinner! The people are always in a great mood and happy to see you, the bar area will remind you of the show Cheers because the folks have never met a stranger! If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic dinner they can make that happen also! Dining rooms are quiet and perfect for a dinner with friends or that special someone! Steaks cooked perfect 9 times out of 7!! Just give Pine Lodge a try for your next dinner date!! You’ll not be disappointed!!

Andrea was an Awesome waitress. The food was Amazing!!! Scallops appetizer with bacon jam, WoW! Steak juicy and tender cooked to perfection!, and the crab cakes dinner was the best ever. Very flavorful and juicy. Definitely highly recommended.

We celebrated our 43rd anniversary at Pine Lodge. The crew there couldn't have made our celebration any greater. Flowers, food, drinks, and service for us and our guests were above expectations.
