A popular local bar especially on the weekends. They make strong but good cocktails and other mixed drinks, have a decent beer menu. The prices are absolutely right though, some of the best I've seen comparatively in years. It perfectly fits the bill of the favored local/dive bar.

Local spot. If you're here on the weekends prepare to wait for drinks, but they're worth it. Decent prices on drinks. I think they have pizza on Mondays or Tuesdays but no food other than that. It's a bar, you're there to drink, not eat. :)

fun we called the gentleman that seated us our 'maitre d'. he made us feel welcome and appreciated. great service and sense of humor. food good and prices reasonable.

Awesome old downtown location. Very friendly people, Cold Cold beer and great conversation or just to sit and ponder in an historic setting. Go here. It's extremely awesome.

Rude bartender, we had our book for a buy 1 draft, get one for a penny. She seemed unfamiliar with the book, but found the stamp and stamped them, when we were ready to leave we asked her what we owed her, she sarcastically said you mean for your penny beer? We replied that it was buy 1 get 2nd for a penny, tossed 5 dollars a on the bar and left. We have been using these books for many years, never has anyone been rude to us about them. It was this past Thursday mid afternoon, lady had blonde/pink? hair in a pony tail.

This is the kind of small town bar that I look for. It's old and disreputable full of friendly people. It's not trying to be something else. It's just a bar, and it gets it right. If I lived near here, this is where I would hang out.
