Staff were super friendly and the menu had a wide choice with some excellent specials. Jalapenos Wrapped in Bacon....Amazing, Artichoke, Garlic and Parmesan soup, the best soup I have had in the states. The South West steak with a coffee and Chili rub... outstanding. The Peanut butter cheesecake was unreal. What a gem in McCook.

Nice steakhouse with good variety of items to choose from, from salads to burgers to steaks and sides. I had the sirloin which came slightly overcooked from my medium rare order. The wine pour by the glass is small, which is extremely annoying. People who read my reviews know that I don't like to be ripped off by high priced low pour glass. Friendly service.

We stumbled upon this gem one early evening in McCook. PLEASANTLY SURPRISED is an understatement. We’ve eaten all over the country and have never, EVER had such amazing cuisine at such a reasonable price. We were greeted promptly and with a smile. Nice start! The dining room had a welcoming atmosphere and a flair of elegance. The menu was very extensive but it was obvious that steak is the coup de grace here. The prices … were outstanding! I started with the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail- HUGE, juicy shrimp with zesty cocktail sauce - absolutely to die for. We then followed with the Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms…. OMG!! Tasty, juicy, delicious, and fresh lobster and cream cheese topped with loads of yummy mozzarella. I mean seriously- my taste buds were in heaven. I do have to mention that I was starting to think that Covid had messed up my taste buds because nothing was tasting like anything lately. No! I just hadn’t had anything that had any taste lol. So, after the mushrooms- we had the French Onion Soup. Smothered in Gruyere cheese, over delicious onion soup on top of crusty bread. Super delicious! My husband had a ribeye and I opted for a cheeseburger. We knew we’d be taking home most of it so I wanted something great for lunch the next day lol. The steak was as expected- cooked to perfection and so tender it could just about melt in your mouth. My cheeseburger didn’t disappoint either- flavorful caramelized onions and delectable cheese over an absolutely scrumptious oversized burger. Our server, Katie, was not only delightful but completely on point. Very knowledgeable and professional, AND it was definitely evident that she cared about her customers. Suffice to say, we will be returning hopefully sooner than later. So happy to have found this wonderful place!

Traveling across the country and stopping in a small town like McCook, NE, you wouldn't expect a restaurant of this quality. I know that sounds ignorant, but really, it's true. Good menu, good food, nice ambience and very, very friendly service. Highly recommended!

I've been to this location a number of times, all on work trips during the summer with a large group of workers. It was so good, one year we went back to McCook a couple weeks later just to eat there again. The view is fantastic, and the staff and atmosphere are fun and calming. I didn't get any of the main steak courses due to company budget, but I did have a steak sandwich. It was steak with cucumbers and other toppings, it's been a while and I can't remember it and can't find any photos online. But the veggies on the roll with the soft, succulent steak was so refreshing for the warm summer evening. It paired perfectly with the truffle fries that I ordered for my side. And the fries. THE FRIES!! The house fries are hands down the most perfect french fries I've ever had. They have nearly spoiled any other french fries for me. They are perfectly thin and crispy, with the perfect amount oil and fluffy insides. The Nebraska Cheese Fries appetizer (piled high with brisket burnt ends, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and green onions) is a must for me anytime I go. Coppermill Steakhouse is my #1 recommended dine in restaurant of all time, and my next visit to McCook can not come fast enough.
