I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. When the chef from BJ's Brew house is on duty, you will receive utterly fantastict hamburgers and spaghetti. When Ernesto is in the kitchen, the Chinese food is tremendous. Sadly, that is the problem. When these two guys are not around, there are no guarantees. On my previous two visits, I have been disappointed. My grandmother owned an Italian restaurant in Ohio. I chef-ed with her, and I will tell you "inconsistency" is the fastest way to destroy a restaurant. Yesterday, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Sadly, the new chef used Vietnamese Pho meatballs and it was horrible. The fried calamari was not crisp. In fact, the batter was gooey. It's a shame because when these guys are on their game, they can produce some of the best food in the Valley. For their sake, I hope they get their act together.
