City Cafe

Wanted something light-ish.🤪 Fried cream cheese with jalapeños. My wife and I chose the Texas style chicken salad on avocado. It was AWESOME!!! It had cilantro pesto, bell pepper and grapes. I also had tomato basil and she had the French onion soup. I also had a Paloma. Great ambiance and super friendly staff.

I went for dinner yesterday (Friday night) looking for a healthier, lighter menu. I was not disappointed! The Crispy Brussels were a great starter: flavored with sriracha aioli, toasted almonds, and honey. I've been here before but had not tried the Pesto Grilled Salmon. It is a salmon filet on fresh spinach and grilled veggies with the most amazing pesto sauce! I loved it! My boyfriend was satisfied with the Grilled Chicken Breast served with a side of mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables.

I dont come here often just because I'm not in the area, but I'm never disappointed when stopping by for lunch.one of the friendliest staff I've experienced in McAllen. The menu has a good variety of choices, and we usually get the same dishes. Try the beef wrap, very good. There was a problem with my plate on this visit, but the waitress quickly fixed the problem. The owner/manager was walking around greeting patrons, some of whom are regulars. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. Service is great. I would definitely return.

Saturday Fun! At City Cafe! One of my favorite spots in RGV. Is casual and cozy. Great selection of food and wine, Steve is always happy to share the day special and pair it with a drink. I love their Vegetable Thai Curry, yes I am vegan, and their French imported Pinot Noir Hob Nob. Just added this! You can call 1/2 Maria or 1/2 veggies! Either way it is only at City Cafe! Love the people, love the service!

Omg this place is amazing! ‼️💯🤩the drinks are PERFECT I’m from Houston 💯🤟🏿 I come to valley once month and food I’ve had OTHER places is TRASH 🗑 this place is GREAT 👍 Try the STEVE ARITA 💯‼️🍸🥂🍹it’s PERFECT the food is awesome the environment is good real relaxing the Staff is good waitress GABY shout out to her she’s great ! 💯👍‼️ Bar tender 2‼️ Gabriel Everything was Great!
