Excellent food, seasoned to perfection. I have to admit, I had my expectations exceeded. It was a little quiet on a weekday. We ordered the seafood, cilantro rice, and spicy beans. Delicious! Remember this is Peruvian, not Mexican. I was quite happy we stopped in. Be careful coming off 74, traffic can move very quickly!!!
Anyone who says this restaurant is not good does not know good food. This is the best Peruvian food I have ever had!!! Literally so amazing. The chicken is always juicy and tender. The sides and appetizers are to die for. Literally can't go wrong!
A friend and I had a delightful lunch here. I particularly enjoyed the friendly, informed and helpful waitress. The food was fresh and attracticely plated. Clean, spacious, not noisy. We plan to make it a regular place to get together. Update: we do return monthly for lunch; it's always a good meal.
WOW, what a hidden jewel, went for lunch yesterday and had great food and service. we had the chicken and salad with grill veggies. Every thing was seasoned perfect. Exciting flavor profile. Service was helpful and friendly. Cant wait to go back.
Excellent value. Soft drinks are only $1.75. We got the sampler platter for two and it was as much meat as two would eat at the nearby Brazilian steakhouse for half the price. Seasoning was delicious. The building is dated on the outside, but don't judge a book by its cover because the inside is clean and freshly painted. We will be back!
This place is truly a hidden gem. The Peruvian rotisserie chicken is delicious, as are their sides. Everything is very reasonably priced. If you're in the area and craving Peruvian chicken, give this place a try instead. You will not be disappointed.
My family of four just finished eating at La Cancha in Matthews. The restaurant was clean and the service was great.
The food was wonderful. We've never eaten Peruvian food before.

We had the PARIHUELA
(Peruvian seafood soup A hearty spicy seafood soup) after we read a review from the Charlotte Observer. Very tasty and wasn't too spicy. The staff were also very pleasant.
