Cracker Barrel

Not happy. Ordered online for curbside pickup. The app told me to open the confirmation email and check in from there when I got to the restaurant. I did that. That took me to the cracker barrel web page and I received a message saying that my food would be out shortly. Granted, I was 10 minutes early. No big deal. Order was supposed to be ready at 3:00. I waited and waited and finally called inside the store at 3:15 and they let me know the app's not working. Nice. Cold food tastes terrible. Won't use the app again. Big waste of time & money.

Great service but I am not impressed with the portions. Was it the economy that led to my Country Boy breakfast steak slimming down? I felt like I was cheated. But after we confirmed with the server that this is their regular portion for this item, we decided not to come back here again. Hey manager, I included in the last picture how the dish portion is expected elsewhere.

I couldn't put off writing this review! I went in tonight with my family and service from beginning to end was phenomenal! We were seated right away and Anthony helped us. He was awesome! And he put up with our family's craziness very well. ;) He went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed! The food was also amazing! We haven't gone out to eat much because of everything going on this year but you guys made tonight special. Thank you!!!

It was nice to go back, now that they've reopened. Food was good, except mash potatoes were dry on surface, like they'd beeb served up an hour or so before I got them. Naturally some other minor changes to accommodate the C-19, the same as a lot of other places. Service was good and place was clean. Saw a lot of employees cleaning all surfaces.

🗣 GIVE JONATHAN HIS 5th STAR! I’m a Cracker Barrel fanatic, believe me. I’m here at least once a week by myself or with my partner. We’ve had many servers and I can’t really complain about any of them (except maybe one who kind of had an attitude when my food was burnt) But today was the first day when the service was so spectacular I had to ask the name of the server! Jonathan literally brought us a perfect meal without forgetting anything! Food was cooked perfectly and the order, down to my soft bacon, was correct. Usually I have to send it back because it’s too crisp. He brought out extra napkins before I asked, had a water refill ready before we even needed it, & checked in many times even AFTER he brought the check. Never in my 20 years of coming to Cracker Barrel has a server checked in after leaving the check. Anyway, Jonathan is just on another level. He didn’t ask for this review either, by the way. I hope the owner sees this. Give that man a raise!
