Ming Dynasty

For as long as I can remember, Ming Dynasty was the go to place for strong drinks and chain smoking (back when that was legal). As an aside, they had Chinese food which was pretty bad. After not going there for a couple of decades, I figured I'd give them another fair try with a take-out order to see if things have improved. (Spoiler alert: they have not.) First, I was a little sticker shocked when my regular order (which is usually ~$43 at other local restaurants) came to $55. Then we started eating it. I must have been really hungry, because at first, I thought the chicken wings were ok. But then I realized how salty they were. The sweet and sour chicken had been cooked WAY too long and was rock hard. The lo mein was again too salty and terribly overspiced. In the end, we just tossed it all and made a sandwich. But I like to be open minded, so I plan on trying them again in another 20 years.

Have had issues before but let them slide till tonight. Ordered from them yesterday and got my usual which tasted fine. Next morning I'm throwing up and what not. Called them and started getting yelled out that delivering to me in my town is a hassle and me complaining before this and that they get new stuff daily that. Telling me to order somewhere else if I hate the food. Nice gaslighting. Either way all i wanted was someone to check the food in case. Wasn't asking for anything. Place has awesome delivery people but awful management it seems. So if you get poisoned don't bother calling them they won't do anything about it.

Ming Dynasty is definitely a favorite place for me to get out and enjoy myself with friends and family. The food is great and the service couldn't be better ! Their friendly omnionce allows you to feel right at home in the way they treat their customers! I'm also grateful for this place as well, because as fate would have it, I met someone very special there a few months ago who is so good and kind... Special thanks to Monica for our friendly and sincere talks we've had and want you to know how happy I am for meeting my special someone at The Ming Dynasty !!! Much Joy to you all ! Jackie

We paid cash for 2 drinks, paid cash for food got cold rice and our change was taken without being told twice from the var. When the bartender was asked where change went she proceeded to smiled and giggle. Next round of drinks was on a debit card apparently it’s $35 for two Maui Tie's. Apparently the bartender thought we were drunk and wouldn’t notice. She was wrong! She is part owner btw.
