Mcalister's Deli

Ordered on GrubHub. The bacon on the BLT was burnt and crumbled. There was no avocado on the sandwich. They forgot to add a pickle. Top that off that the Mac and cheese was ice cold. This was the worst experience and probably will not go back. Only reason it was two stars was the chili was pretty good once I heated it up. Update: Courtney reached out to me and apologized for the disappointing meal. I was impressed to see such a quick response. I am convinced this was an uncommon occurrence and because of her effort to fix the issue I have raised the star to 4. Thanks Courtney.

A lot has changed in regards to certain menu items. Like the French dip sandwich my son ordered, it used to be shredded beef and now it’s just sliced roast deli beef. The four cheese melt my husband and I had was barely melted or warm. I know a lot of restaurants have went up in prices due to inflation and some ingredients are hard to come by but the price you pay doesn’t equate the small amount and mediocre quality/taste of the food. The employees were very kind and the location is very clean and that’s why I only took off one star but the food could be way better.

First interview went good with one of the male managers even though he didn’t know anything about an interview or me applying but still interviewed me which like i mentioned went good he told me to come back to meet with him and another manager for a second interview a couple weeks later. When it comes time for the second interview I come and meet with the same male manager to be told that I needed to come the next morning at 10 to speak with a female manager because he already spoke with me. I come that next morning to be told that she’s busy and to come in later that day at 3:30 so again I come and I’m told by an EMPLOYEE not the manager they aren’t hiring which obviously wasn’t true when the male manager mentioned they needed people. Sounds like poor and lazy management Im kinda glad I wasn’t hired in that environment

The first and last time I will ever try McAlister's Deli. I ordered a Angus beef sandwich and a cup of potato soup to take back to my hotel room. It took about 25 minutes to prepare. I checked my order before leaving. What I got was a ham and cheese? and a cup of soup with NO spoon. They tried to find out what went wrong as there was only 6 people in the entire dining room. I decided to cancel, get a refund and go elsewhere. A young lady with heavy make-up, I think her name was Elvira or Olivia said she was the manager and would call her district manager to get this resolved. She did not know how to do a refund, nor could she ever get a manager to answer her call. She became rude and another employee said she had just returned to this location from another store. I am astounded that she works in customer service as her demeanor was horrible.

Had no choice but to do take out because they close the dining area 30 mins before their actual closing time @ 8:30pm. Received the wrong sandwich (couldn't eat it). It was awful. And paid extra for butter and sour cream for potato and didn't receive it. Very disappointing. Service was meh. You could really tell they were anxious to close up and get out asap.
