The name alone should be enough of a reason to visit this establishment. Been here twice over 2 separate visits to Marfa. Both times I had breakfast and both times I enjoyed it. Looks to be a place that the locals eat at and a fair share of law enforcement officers are usually dining here as well. I was treated very politely and the service was just fine. You should drop by.

Had some breakfast and I really loved it! We asked for hot tea and got several different teas to choose from. The waffle was amazing and the location really cool. Highly recommended!

Y’all I am so puzzled as to how this restaurant has such high reviews. I was raised in Mexico and been living on Texas (west and central) for about 15 years now. The service was good but the huevos rancheros are literally the worst I’ve ever had in my life. It was a bummer. This was not good Mexican nor good Texmex. I’m not sure how cheese and eggs can be this tasteless. Even the beans and potatoes were bad. We also had a burrito and a waffle. The waffle tasted like a frozen waffle and the burrito was tasteless which again, very impressive considering that it had chorizo. I will praise the iced chai latte, that chai latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. So two stars for that.

Awful staff. Mediocre fare. Great donuts. Context: It was busy, but not packed. -Sat down immediately -Ordered immediately -Waited over an hour and 45 minutes before food came out, and we were not the only ones - everybody looked bored and hungry -Was never checked on, updated, or coffee refilled -Three orders were wrong, two missing sides and and entire additional meal was missing -Only one of us risked getting their order fixed, which came out in five minutes Yikes. Never again.

Yikes! Literally never experienced such bad service in my life! Working in the food service industry for fifteen years myself, I was totally shocked by the lack of service from the waitresses. This is one of those places that doesn’t want to serve people who aren’t local to Marfa. Good luck staying in business! Not only was our grey-haired waitress snarky and rude, we waited an hour for two tacos before finally deciding to leave. Don’t waste your time.

Super nice and friendly people to start off. Both my husband and I had the iced coffee which was amazing. He had breakfast plate that had green chilli and cheese on top of his eggs, potatoes and beans. I got thw breakfast combo usually with your choice of meat but I got beer bread toast instead because i do not eat that they offered. I was in awe of everything they had decorated in there. This was the 1st place we had breakfast at and we both want to go back. There is a for sale sign out front so hopefully they keep it around.

Great breakfast spot! The huevos rancheros were spicier than I'm used to in central texas BUT they were good and the cappuccino hit the spot. This place is pet-friendly, and our server was very sweet and tended to our needs with professionalism.

Love this place, staff was supper friendly, good portions. Food was amazing. Love the burger and then place itself. A must go if you are traveling through Marfa.
