Not disappointed. On a Sunday night around 6:30 in January we were told it was an hour wait for pizza but it was more like 45. We had a couple ice cold beers while we waited. Beers were $2 each. The pizza had thin crust and was tasty. Not a bad stop for sure.
The most delicious oven brick pizza you can find in the middle of nowhere! A simple Pepperoni Pizza is what I always get, worth your 18 dollars! So tasty, lovely staff, love the actually restaurant! I highly recommend this place! My advice for ordering pizza here, call and hour before you actually want to eat so you do not have to wait! But if you do not call it is worth the wait! So tasty, makes me want a Pizza right now while writing this review! 💕
Perfect size slice portions!! Toppings were fresh and the tasty local beers. The space was very unique, open and airy to combat the heat and dryness of the area. The menu was fairly basic but the taste of the pie and service was well above average!!
Pizza does not disappoint. We called ahead and our pizza was fresh when we arrived. Crispy, greasy, and all-around delicious pizza. Good beer and wine selection as well.
A recent negative review was remarkably rude and insensitive that it requires a response. Apparently this person knows nothing of the pandemic and the struggles for small independent businesses. Their new pizza ordering service is meant to distance people, keep people safe, and survive tin this difficult business climate.
The reviewer said the owner was coughing a lot. Can you quantify that? Has the reviewer ever coughed? The reviewer failed to mention that the owner is extraordinarily cautious and always wears a mask. The reviewer said the owner was kinda rude. Can you quantify that?
Fortunately the vast majority of their customers love the Pizza Foundation.
My guess is that if people posted their interactions with this reviewer they wouldn’t be complimentary.
Pizza Foundation, this reviewers point have no value. Ignore her
It’s been a year since we had the best pizza in the USA at Pizza Foundation. We live 9 hours away. We’re taking a road trip so we can get that pizza again! You just have to taste it to believe it.
Order ahead because it will take upwards of an hour and a half to get your pie. (We went by the restaurant to check out the menu, ordered, then left to go visit a couple of art galleries.) They call you when your pizza is ready, but we got back just before they called. We dined slowly to make the experience last a little longer. Amazing pizza! And try the Big Bend Brewery beers they serve. Wonderful!
Order ahead if you can because this perfection cannot be rushed and you're not the only one in search of this perfectly thin, crispy crust.
Ok my family is complete pizza snobs. We like NY style pizza with flavorful crust and good cheese. I was amazed to find this place in the middle of no where Texas. Totally worth the trip but get there early this small place gets hopping. Great family location. I had hoped to get full pizza pictures but it was too good to wait.
