Marblehead Galley

Food was delicious I had Captains breakfast. Jessica was our waitress and she was busy yet efficient and very personable. Little gift shop was fun to shop at too. Social distancing was observed. We were in Marblehead several days and had breakfast again- at the Galley. Kim was our waitress and very humorous and witty. And as expected the food was delicious. The breads are homemade- I especially enjoyed the raisin toast.

Great food for a great price. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They make their own bread, and their toast enhances every meal. Great soups, and they have a huge house made pie selection, all delicious. They also have a full bar, and a great selection of bottled beers, and some draft beers. And their staff has been there for decades, so it must be a good place to work.

Good for breakfast. I had a shrimp, onion, mushroom omelet. The omlet was good and came with hash brown potatoes. The home made toast was thick and quite tasty. I also had coffee, good also, and a mimosa. My wife had scrambled eggs with sausage patties and throughly enjoyed it. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

I never leave reviews, but I needed to for this. I ordered their perch tacos which is listed in their highlighted section of their menu at Market Price and advertised to be cooked to perfection. The fish was loaded with bones. I told the server and she nonchalantly responded “that’s how they come and we can’t remove the bones.” I told her I was done then and she said “ok” and walked away. Final bill included the tacos. Really wild that the server thinks regularly serving bones in fish is acceptable and never offered to remedy the issue.

Delicious. Had the Pepperjack Steak wrap and made it a platter. Fries are homemade and soo good. Tartar sauce was homemade too. Yum! Hubby got a Monster Burger and he has stars in his eyes and didn't put it down till it disappeared! Wish I'd had saved room for the 17 different types of desserts on the board! 😩
