This is definitely a 4-star buffet restaurant ... more likely 4½-star. The Staff are all very courteous and all smiles, very pleasant as though every customer is a long time friend and regular customer. It's very clean, and the food prep & set-up is quite organized. (Being allergic to shellfish I was extremely impressed by the efforts to insure that serving utensils were provided for each separate dish on the buffet line ... didn't have to worry about juice from the shrimp dishes getting into my grilled chicken or sweet & sour pork.)
I highly recommend the Grand Buffet Restaurant for anyone hungry for Asian cuisine with a moderate budget ... or any budget for that matter.

We ate for the first time at this restaurant. The sign on the building says Lu Wi Buffet, but on the internet it still lists it as Grand Buffet Restaurant. I know that sounds strange but it’s the way it is. Anyway, the food is good. It is not the Chinese buffet I am used to with a big spread, but it has enough variety to satisfy the cravings. The service was absolutely wonderful! A great staff that is very attentive and stopped by our table often. We will go back.

Don't waste your money. Food was barely warm at all and was not good. The cucumber salad was the only decent thing, although it is hard to mess up cucumbers. Way overpriced, can't believe some of the ratings are higher than a 2. It was a terrible experience and we were charged a 25% gratuity for just bringing us water.

A lovely staff welcomes you to a comfortable and well appointed restaurant. Fried food dominates the buffet and while there is fresh lettuce to make a salad, there aren’t any standard ingredients like tomatoes, celery, pecans, craisins, bacon, shredded cheese and croutons aren’t available. Similarly the wonton soup was without wontons, duck sauce for the egg rolls had to be requested, and a nominal selection of rolls constituted “sushi”. The cold peel and eat shrimp were so small as to be difficult to shell, and while cocktail sauce struck me as something that couldn’t be messed up, the Grand Buffet proved me wrong. Then there was the cottage cheese, another something you’d not expect to taste different, but it was kind of sour and off. The fish fried in cornmeal was decent, as were the coated fries, but there was no fried rice or white rice and the imitation crab salad somehow managed to taste fishier than real crab under the too-sweet dressing. Everything was hot and fresh, the buffets well maintained, but I had to wonder if management takes note of what customers don’t eat. I think not or the cocktail sauce and shrimp would be far better. Nothing overly wrong, but save for the friendly and capable staff, not a whole lot right, either.

I enjoy the food and the atmosphere but today it is terribly humid inside here. And still need ceiling work in restroom. Pics include additional buys and prices for the week!

Great to ear in public again! Lots of seating, so you can avoid others. Food is typical Chinese buffet, but not spicy at all, including shushi.
