Island Fish Company

First time trying Island Fish Company, and Kelly was an amazing server. She made our experience that much better and was very attentive, knowledgeable on the menu and gave great recommendations. We had the Caribbean Special with Grouper, rice and beans and a delicious mango salsa. It so delicious! And finished it off with a Deep Fried Key Lime Pie. This was my first time having a KL pie that was fried and it did not disappoint. Great mix of tart from the key lie with sweet from the churro style coating. Great ambiance, great food and amazing service ! We Will come back !

The coolest part of this place was the atmosphere! Blue lights under the dock water, an island pet iguana with custom housing, which included fresh juicy fruit and mouth watering lettuce. The restaurant had a warm welcoming interior with fun music, an indoor/ outdoor vibe and a busy but not to loud place. Spike the iguana was my favorite. They also had a great gift shop. One major issue-parking...but hey, it's the keys so come by boat!

Came for a quick dinner tonight. Got very prompt, friendly service by the bartenders. I tried the Cajun Fried Chicken Salad. It was more than filling. The best way to describe the Chicken would be Chick-fil-A with a Cajun hint. Probably one of the better salads I’ve had. Especially the chicken being so tender. I also tried the She Crab Soup which was good, but I was a expecting a red-hint soup with shredded crab meat. It was more of a crab chowder. They have a full wrap around bar with Ocean view patio with plenty of seating. I do want to come back and try some actual seafood next time. Which I will be back. Curious to see how that would be. They have happy hour here. I would like to post much more, due to lighting it will have to wait. Marvin recommended I try the Blackened Fish Mahi Tacos. The Fire Hog Red Lager was tasty and complimented my meal well. Probably some of the better service I have had on the Island. Didn’t feel treated like a tourist or rushed. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. First time trying it out and let me just say, I was not disappointed. The server was amazing, food was incredible and the hospitality was impeccable. I had the New York strip steak and it was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend 100%

This restaurant was great. It is located on the water, so the views are awesome. The food was good but our service wasn't that good. We kept having to repeat services, such as please bring our water, which we never got until after our meal arrived and we had already started eating. We did start with an adult beverage, so we didn't go without anything to drink. I saw other tables getting great attention, but our waitress was just having a bad day because she seemed like a great person and was very friendly. So yes, we did still tip her well. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Loved the appetizers , my creepy coco lychee drink and fried Cory lime pie. If you like creamy coconut drinks you definitely need to try their creepy lychee drink . The spinach crab dip was also delicious . The entrees we weren’t really impressed with we ordered the fried grouper with new potatoes. I was expecting a fried grouper but two grouper nuggets. The new potatoes were under cooked and had absolutely no flavor . The key west bbq shrimp was good but the sides were disappointing and flavorless. The fried key lime pie was good and our server Carlos was very sweet and friendly . We’d definitely go back for drinks and desserts . The place is very laid back and tropical . The place is worth checking out if you are in the Keys .
